Although Waking Violet has really small production values, it solves these deficiencies with a very good puzzle design and an original proposal in some of its mechanics. Challenging and perfectly measured in every way, it will please both veterans and novices of the genre.

Overcooked 2 offers what we all wanted; an online cooperative, new recipes and many really imaginative scenarios. A perfect title to play with. Its low difficulty may discourage the more seasoned, but it's still a fun title to play.

This is a high quality compilation that for the first time includes all the games of the saga. Perhaps more extras could have been added or the performance of the games improved, but it's certainly worth buying for all that it offers. Hours of fun guaranteed.

Dead Cells is one of the games of the year, it's that simple. All the decisions have been made with mastery, shaping a fantastic roguelike. Lots of action, a lot of variations to investigate and a random component that will keep us many hours glued to the screen. An absolutely essential title for any player looking for a real challenge. Special mention to its brilliant "throwaway" builds system.

Iconoclasts is an ode to the pixel, a beautiful adventure, with a very strong story load and an exquisite level design. It is in its own right one of the indies of the year and one of those games that exude love for the old and for things well done.

Yakuza 0 is a Japanese treasure rich in content, details, history and characters. A great game that is only slightly clouded by some outdated mechanics at my personal discretion and the one that is entirely in English. The amount of secondary activities, the plot, the soundtrack and its gameplay almost completely eclipse these shortcomings. A game that everyone should experience, whether or not it appeals to them.

Management with many options with a smooth learning curve, wrapped in a mood that pulls constantly nostalgia and a considerable content that comes to demand a lot from the player with its expansion included. Holly Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! hides much more than you might expect at first glance.

Interesting debut of Artifact 5 with a game whose proposal, despite having been even more elaborate, will appeal to all those who follow the narrative experiences. Or at least to all those who can ignore its numerous technical problems.

Candle: The Power of the Flame is a graphic adventure with a great artistic impact, supported by a sound section at the height of the circumstances and finished off by a very well done dubbing. In spite of some small problems with the control, the set is a highly recommended game, both for beginners in the genre and for those fans of it.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifive VR Edition is an example of how a third-person game can also be ideal for VR, breaking the prejudice that some people still have that VR is intended for first-person play only. It also shows how a game not intended from scratch for VR but to be played with a pad and in a traditional way, can benefit from it to offer a different and more immersive experience. On the game itself, little to add to what has already been praised by critics and the public in its day, a must have in your game library.

Mulaka excels at just about everything a good adventure should excel at: interesting and fun exploration, a simple but well-constructed story, and direct and effective combat. As if that were not enough, they bring us closer to a culture that is surely unknown to many of us. Quite an achievement.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound repeats all the good from its first part and the less good. With great weight in the great setting, the interesting plot and the brilliant narrative, but with the tare of the action sections, inherited from its first part, and although totally subjective, perhaps the game feels long. However, we are facing another great science fiction work where we will have to solve a great variety of puzzles, quite a few of them new and ingenious, while we look for the person who is attacking us. Recommendable.

Pato Box is an excellent boxing game. Challenging battles and great narrative. The stages of platforms to my liking slow down and are superfluous in the game, but they do not tarnish the general set enough that fans of boxing games like Punch-Out do not enjoy it.

Under that childish layer that can repel in the first instance, Bomber Crew hides a deep gameplay, where tension and the need for quick decisions are the order of the day. Perhaps its curve of difficulty can reverse neophytes in the genre, or perhaps the handling could have somehow taken advantage of the touch screen of the console, but who knows how to ignore these small problems will find a worthy heir to Faster Than Light set in World War II that will provide you with many hours of gameplay.

Narcosis is a short experience that can be enjoyed. It compensates for its short duration with achieved moments of tension and a really good setting, but it is a bit far from offering a complete experience. Still we are before a remarkable game. Recommended for those looking for an intense and fast game with which to spend a couple of afternoons of underwater stress.

A title that despite its visual simplicity, hides a complex and deep gameplay. A perfect game for anyone with a small pocket but willing to accept a long and arduous challenge, as its time/price ratio is unbeatable. If you give it a chance it will give you more than you expect.

Spheroids is a title that dares to reinvent one of the great classics of the eighties like Pang! It's fun and combines quite well its mechanics. You can blame it for its arguable difficulty and for being so short, but if you're looking for an arcade experience, it's a good choice to keep in mind.

Lost in Harmony achieves what it was intended to do: convey sensations to the player through the synchronization of our interaction with the screen and the music, with a narrative load that will help. M.I.R.A.I.'s adventure is not as satisfying personally as Kaito and Aya's, but overall, it is a highly recommended title within its genre.

West of Loathing is a game that no lover of RPGs rich in dialogue and humor should miss. You just have to forgive the combat system that can sin from being very simple and with little depth.

Hand of Fate 2 is a great game as a sequel and as a standalone game. Expand the proposal of the first part and improve everything previously seen. It's a lot of fun to dive into its mix of deck management, classic RPG, and combat. If you liked the first part or you are simply attracted to being able to recall those games of Dungeons and Dragons making decisions and throwing dice, do not stop trying it.
