Forza Horizon 5 is the first true next-gen production of Xbox Series X|S (excluding Flight Simulator). In terms of production, the work is truly impressive and can only exalt the talent and skill of Playground Games in knowing how to create a video game that is both enormous in content and technically astounding. The Mexican Horizon festival is a real love letter to car game lovers, as well as a beautiful postcard to one of the most beautiful settings ever seen in a video game. Forza Horizon 5 is a masterpiece that will leave you speechless at every KM and entertained at every turn, ready to take its place among the best games of 2021 and therefore deserving of our award.

To celebrate its first simultaneous worldwide release, Shin Megami Tensei V smoothes out its edges and strips away the hermetic solemnity that distinguishes its predecessors. In doing so it loses part of its charm, mainly related to the depth of plot and characters and to the characterization of the world, but at the same time it tries to fascinate a wider audience with an extremely more digestible story able to respect the dogmas established by the brand over the years. Enjoyable both in portability and on the TV screen despite the obvious limitations of the hardware, it's an extremely good product, able to keep you busy for over a hundred hours without ever feeling the weight: Shin Megami Tensei V is a unique item in the Nintendo Switch library, a must-have for all fans of the genre - even for those who own other gaming platforms.

However, additions aside, let's not forget what remains, indisputably, the most important and valiant element, even in this Director's Cut: Death Stranding. Experience that, regardless of one's personal taste, is valid, important and destined to remain lucid in memories for a very long time. Almost as prophetic as the brilliant Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Sam Porter Bridges' journey westwards, despite some some somewhat stretched and unnecessarily brainy sequences, remains deep and full of messages and social themes too powerful to be ignored, which pass first from the gameplay and our efforts, and then culminate in a genuinely moving final sequence.

The real strong point is and remains the narration: crazy and brilliant but, above all, able to act on several levels having fun but also pushing towards reflections on how complex the human psyche can be.

Death's Door is really, really nice. It rarely happens to find yourself in front of a product characterized by such a high general quality on every front, unable to show the side to criticism of all kinds, but when it happens it is really difficult not to recommend it without ifs and buts.
