I must say, LIVE A LIVE is an unique JRPG that oozes creativity, charm, and amazing music. Whether you're a fan of the genre or not, this game can be a great experience, it has several short stories that are unique and memorable, a very beautiful art style that made me use the Nintendo Switch's screenshot button much more than in most other games, a killer soundtrack that can always be heard through the Jukebox in the menu, and a very satisfying final chapter. The only point that I believe is not so well explored is its combat, which, despite being very attractive to those who are not used to RPG games, is only really explored to its full potential on a few occasions, especially in the end of the game, while in most common combats during the characters individual stories, it can feel quite monotonous for those who like an extra challenge.

Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony is an interesting game that reminds us of a series that many people want to see back. Despite being short and lacking in extra content, the game is still fun and the mix of 2D platforming elements with bullet hell offers a challenge that will please those who like to improve their skills.

With a development team known for delivering great experiences, Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 is another great game produced by Inti Creates. Featuring a cool story, good character interactions, and fun, easy-to-master gameplay, the game is pure action and, despite being short, has plenty of incentives for multiple playthroughs.

Super UFO Fighter has a very nice presentation, its single player mode has charismatic characters, fun dialogues, even though they get boring quickly, the gameplay concept is really interesting and fun too, making you have good laughs while playing with a friend, but it lacked a little more content to explore its concepts better and not to fall into repetition after about an hour of gameplay.

Wreckfest is a fun game that stands out among its rivals for offering plenty of destruction and beautiful visuals for Nintendo's platform. With plenty of events for players to participate in, quick races, and simple gameplay, the game is perfect for those who don't have much experience or want something to pass the time.

The game as a whole successfully carries on the legacy of its predecessors and further expands one of the best-made RPG worlds I've ever had the pleasure of exploring. With an admirably consistent story and character writing, excellent pacing, complex and fun gameplay, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes manages to go well beyond any expectations I had. It also manages to maintain a good frame rate at all times and ensure the visual quality of its older brother. It's a very easy recommendation for fans of the genre, and also for fans of Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

A perfect way to introduce the blue hedgehog to a new generation, Sonic Origins is a great package. Offering some of the character's best games, some extra challenges and the chance to learn more about the hero's story, it is highly recommended for new fans. Veterans will also be pleased with the best way to play the games on modern consoles.

The puzzles are basic but well-crafted, connecting the setting to the characters' psyches and providing clues with intriguing puzzles. The visuals are quite pleasing, and the voice acting is quite competent, though it can be exhausting during the explanatory moments, when the characters can barely catch their breath for the lore dump sequences. Finally, there's an out-of-place shot-'em-up, which can at least be enjoyable when you are exhausted of reading.

Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei has a dense story with two-dimensional characters, and is certainly one of the best Otoges I've ever had the pleasure of playing. The stylization is great, the theme is dense, there's a decent variety of routes and suitors, and all of this tied together masterfully by an impeccable rhythm.

Pocky & Rocky Reshrined is a great comeback of the series, featuring new characters, an interesting plot, a very crunchy pixelart, and fast, varied and very rewarding gameplay that gets really addicting especially when played in co-op. The only points that may leave something to be desired are some boss fights being kinda unforgiving, and some levels that can feel a bit repetitive, aspects that usually can be expected in bullet hell-like experiences, but still bringing a very fun game to play.

Lost Ruins is a simple, cohesive metroidvania with charisma and personality, which is honestly quite fun. Most of the time I was playing it was considerably good, except for the periods when the progression with the game seemed almost non-existent. The freedom that the game provides is without a doubt my favorite part of the game, since this is not a very common characteristic in games of the genre.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is a good game and a good port (for Switch) that is worth it for fans of the anime. Of course, in the future we may have an even better game, with more characters, and that eventually covers more arcs, being a “more complete work”, making this first title completely useless, but until then, which no one even knows when it will be, let's stick with this one, because it is fun and very captivating. The negative points do not take you away from the game, and of course the focus is still on the Versus Mode with friends, just like every fighting game.

Milky Way Prince — The Vampire Star is a visual novel that stands out in its representation of a complex situation to deal with. Using fantasy elements, it warns [players] about the dangers of abusive relationships and the traps this sort of situation can set for people. Even with little time to the history and some quality of life issues, this is a great example of the possibilities in the media.

Pac-Man Museum + is a great way of experiencing the Pac-Man franchise, there are several great games featuring the mascot and with a lot of quality of life changes to take advantage of them in a very dynamic way, and despite not having the best variety when customizing your own arcade, it is pretty fun to keep changing it with the new items that are unlocked during the play sessions. If you like or are interested in Pac-Man, this title is definitely worth checking out, as you will certainly find one or several games that may become an addictive pastime.

Seven Pirates H is a charismatic RPG focused on its ecchi aspect just like its predecessors in the Genkai Tokki franchise. Though there are some issues in the gameplay and narrative, any player looking for charismatic girls and an experience that doesn't shy away from exploring eroticism in its many layers will likely enjoy the game a lot.

Prinny Presents NIS Classics Vol. 2 hits the nail on the head with NIS's choice of returning games, bringing improvements that, while basic, still add value to the Nintendo Switch library with titles that never before were considered to be on a Nintendo platform. However, I still feel that there would be room for more work on this package, common perks such as the soundtrack and artbook, are restricted to the physical version. In terms of features, the collection still leaves something to be desired in terms of resources that would be useful to compensate some game design choices that nowadays feel dated.

In summary, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a delight. As a Visual Novel, it hits the mark in everything it sets out to do, with a charming narrative full of mysteries and characters that break out of the norm as their narratives and relationships deepen. I can say that, for some, the story may drag on a little longer than necessary, but I believe that this impression depends largely on the bond that is created with this universe and these characters, who are incredibly captivating in person. Much more than a recommendation, the title is a must for fans of the genre.

Tormented Souls is a great comeback of what made the survival horror genre so beloved by gamers in the 90s and early 2000s, featuring an intriguing plot and a challenging campaign, full of complex puzzles, crazy plot twists and a fantastic eeriee feel during the experience. If you consider yourself a fan of the genre it's definitely worth giving the game a try.

Big Bang Pro Wrestling is a clear product of its time. Perhaps back in the day it might have been a good pick for wrestling fans who would like to see their favorite sport in a a portable playable version, however, nowadays, despite still having a certain visual charm, it is very slow and boring to play.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is a new chance to experience one of Square's most beloved games released during the PlayStation 1. The game comes with some improvements that will greatly help those who want to play the title and learn about its rich story. Unfortunately, narrative and performance issues may end up being negative in a title that had everything to shine and be another great relaunch from the company.
