Black Myth: Wukong is the most anticipated action RPG of the year and impresses with its variety of bosses. The world is full of loving details and impresses in all its splendour. With a playing time of just under 35 hours, the main story is played through and invites you to start a new cycle or to explore the missed bosses or unfinished quests after playing through the 6 chapters. Apart from the technical flaws, Black Myth: Wukong is a fantastic game and lives up to its hype, even if it was a little too easy for my taste.

Cat Quest III, the most purrtastic action RPG of the year, will be released on 8 August 2024. The sequel from development team The Gentlebros makes a fantastic impression and leaves you wanting more. Exploring is a hell of a lot of fun and the purrible holds many secrets in store for us. Cat Quest III convinces with a variety of bosses, crazy side missions and witty dialogues that leave you wanting more.

Closer the Distance is a touching story that will move you to tears. Closer the Distance deals with a heavy topic, which can also show us as players how to deal with grief. With a playing time of just under 15 hours, we get a beautiful slice-of-life adventure in the truest sense of the word, which even has a high replay value. We can recommend Closer the Distance, even if the subject matter is not necessarily for everyone.

Last Night of Winter is a fantastic Pixel Souls game that impresses with its unique humour. With a playing time of approx. 4 hours, the game offers a short story, but the atmospheric overall package is convincing. The playing time varies depending on the level of difficulty selected. However, it must be said that there is no New Game+ after playing through the game. Once the game has been played through, it starts all over again as if all memories had disappeared.

Beyond Good & Evil is a real hidden gem that tells us a first-class and dark story in a loving universe that we won't soon forget. With Destiny 2: The Final Form, we get a fantastic story DLC that exceeds our expectations. The Final Form offers both fans and newcomers the well-deserved finale to a long saga that remains exciting throughout.
