For fans of deep storytelling, dark Slavic atmosphere, and thoughtfully implemented vampire mechanics, time spent in Vale Sangora comes highly recommended.

Despite Supermassive Games' impressive pedigree, certain sections of the game drag the overall experience down. The stealth segments become so tedious at times that they can make you lose the desire to keep playing. Still, if you're a fan of the studio, you'll get the best of its signature horror style wrapped in a strong sci-fi setting. If you're looking for something fresh, however, it's best to keep your expectations in check.

Black Flag Resynced doesn’t try to outdo a legend. Instead, it repackages everything that made the original great into a more modern experience, with all the strengths and shortcomings that approach brings. Is that enough to set sail across the Caribbean once again? For pirate veterans like me, absolutely. For newcomers, this may well be the best way to experience what was once the Assassin’s Creed formula at its very best.

Despite the flaws that are still evident in Mundfish’s work, these are the kinds of issues that can be refined and improved over time. The team clearly has a strong vision, but in some areas the execution falls short of the heights this title could reach. Even so, this is the best, and most polished. Atomic Heart experience they’ve delivered so far. The progress is impossible to miss.

Life is Strange: Reunion may be predictable, but it’s an exceptionally engaging interactive adventure that brings Max’s story to a close. If you’re a fan of the series, you owe it to yourself to see how this young photographer’s journey ends. If you’re new, you’re in for around ten hours of top-tier voice acting, beautiful music, and a story you can shape and reshape until you reach your own happy, or bittersweet, ending.
