Scoring Valkyria Chronicles is really difficult for me. On one hand, I didn't necessarily enjoy the gameplay. On the other hand, the story was enjoyable and this really is an excellent PC port both visually and how smoothly it runs. For a game that came out in its original form so long ago, I tend to place more value on how well they ported the game to PC than how much I personally enjoyed it

When it comes down to it, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is a blast – no pun intended. Fans of the series will love it, and gamers with a competitive streak who are new to the series should take to it instantly. This is a definite buy for your Xbox One as it will bring back memories for veterans of the series while introducing the franchise to those who've never played it.

60 / 100 - The Crew
Dec 12, 2014

It pains me to say it seeing as I had such high hopes but The Crew missed its mark by a long shot and just barely chugs over the starting line.

Even with the expansion included, Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015 doesn't offer enough variety and makes it too difficult to progress through the game without feeling pressured to buy cards with physical money. What this game seems good for however are those people who might be interested in playing the actual physical card game.

Granted it is not without some flaws, annoyances and price point appears a tad steep but at the end of the day this Lara Croft does the franchise proud.

In the end, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is an improvement in nearly every way to the original. It is a fun, highly addictive, and immersive experience that will grip you with its unique design, tight gameplay, high replay value, and compelling cast of characters. The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is one of the better games I have played this year, maybe of all time.

While Tiny Trooper: Joint Ops has some neat ideas perhaps my biggest criticism is that I didn't find myself overly compelled to return to it. It can be a fun diversion but lacks that "just one more level" sense of attraction.

It's a recycled formula that has worked over and over again and it has left some gameplay issues that should have been fixed long ago (e.g. floaty control or collision detection); however, the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" formula works and for many that will most likely be fine for them.

76 / 100 - This War of Mine
Dec 1, 2014

In terms of gameplay I found This War of Mine a little tedious and slow. I mostly wanted to hustle through the gameplay parts so I could see the story and my characters develop. It's not an amazing GAME, but it's an amazing experience.

84 / 100 - Terraria

It offers a huge amount of bosses, items, and collectables, and couch co-op to boot. If you like Minecraft or anything of the sort, Terraria is definitely a game worth a look or two.

89 / 100 - Far Cry 4

This game is HUGE. At the end of the day, you are absolutely getting every dollar of value from Far Cry 4, and I'm nowhere close to being bored of it after roughly thirty hours. If you enjoyed Far Cry 3, do yourself a favour and pick up FC4. You will not be disappointed, I assure you.

MotoGP 14 is an impressive package with a lot of depth and challenge but is hampered by the lack of a proper FFB controller unique to this type of racing.

Grand Theft Auto V isn't exactly a next gen masterpiece but it is undeniably the undisputed king of open world games. If there is anyone out there that hasn't yet experienced GTA V you owe it to yourself to give it a spin. For those of you who have already taken the journey with Franklin, Michael and Trevor there is still plenty of reasons to head back to Los Santos all over again. Trust me, this GTA received far more than just a fresh coat of paint.
