Quidditch Champions is not a poor interpretation of the wizards’ favorite sport, but it currently has limited content: 30 euros for a brief single-player campaign and only one multiplayer mode is just too little. Even though the gameplay is functional, some roles are much more fun to play than others. Quidditch Champions has the potential to create a new gaming phenomenon but struggles to engage even the most devoted fans of the magical world.

Unfortunately, a somewhat predictable and rushed story prevents Star Wars Outlaws from standing out among other works in this universe. Massive's game is an open-world Uncharted that doesn't innovate but is extremely pleasant to play thanks to its solid and fun gameplay, impressive content richness, and notable graphics. It's not without flaws, but it's undoubtedly one of Ubisoft's best open worlds in recent years.

It's not enough to invoke the sacred monsters of the metroidvania genre to make a good game, and MARS 2120 is proof. QUByte Entertainment's game is a disaster across the board, with weak narrative, flawed gameplay, and outdated technical aspects.

As a debut game from a studio previously focused on animated shorts and commercials, Kena: Bridge of Spirits surprised me with its well-rounded video game experience. Every component is well-integrated, creating a solid, fun, engaging, and even emotional experience, despite not innovating the 3D adventure landscape.

Downward: Enhanced Edition is a solid and fun first-person platformer that stands out in the genre for its fantasy setting, offering varied scenarios from exotic zones to icy or fiery expanses. It's a pity about some small physics issues that get the character stuck in unlikely places, the lack of real combat, and a soporific and inconclusive plot that doesn't do justice to Caracal Games' creation.

Nobody Wants to Die is a hidden gem and a pleasant surprise this hot summer, with a raw, direct narrative that immerses you in a disturbing cyberpunk noir world. However, the overly guided and linear gameplay is a downside.

Playing Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition makes you realize how much this title deserves a remake, but instead, we have to settle for a simple remaster. The graphical overhaul is well done and does justice to a timeless classic despite some limitations due to the passage of time that the developers haven't addressed. The new additions don't fully justify the purchase for long-time fans, who will likely be driven by nostalgia. However, those who have never experienced the story of Jade and Pey’j now have no excuses.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a solid and fun JRPG, a good alternative to the main series. Its vibrant and colorful art style still holds up well. The game improves on its predecessor but inherits some limitations in side missions and exploration.

Monster Hunter Stories is a JRPG that, despite graphical and audio improvements, clearly shows its limitations as a nearly ten-year-old Nintendo 3DS game. Overlooking these limits, it's still a fun game that showcases the more Pokémon-like side of the series.

The debut work from this Latin American development team is extremely pleasant in its simplicity, with an enjoyable story, effective gameplay, and impactful art style. Astor: Blade of the Monolith is a good start for C2 Game Studio on consoles and a promising foundation for more ambitious goals.

EA Sports F1 24 feels like a transitional entry, awaiting something more significant hopefully next year. Codemasters' racing game features solid, fun gameplay and a revamped career mode, but some promising ideas fall short. The nearly unchanged game offering and overall sense of déjà vu make it hard to recommend to those who played the previous installment, yet die-hard fans might overlook these flaws.

The lack of a high-quality tennis video game was felt, and TopSpin 2K25 brings joy to fans with its excellent gameplay. Unfortunately, this excellence doesn't extend to other aspects, with technical and content offerings below today's standards. Hopefully, TopSpin 2K25 marks a new beginning for the series, with 2K Games addressing these issues in future installments.

Dragon’s Dogma II is the natural evolution of a saga that compromised due to technological limits over ten years ago. Now free of those limits, Capcom’s action/RPG presents itself in majestic form. Even if the story sometimes feels like a rehash of the first chapter, its amazing gameplay and vast open world make it a masterpiece.

WWE 2K24 lacks significant gameplay innovations and a technological revolution due to its cross-gen nature, but it feels like the definitive chapter after the series' reboot with 2K22. It’s the culmination of 40 years of Wrestlemania and what this entertainment sport can offer. With the largest roster ever for the series and many modes, some more successful than others, it can entertain all tastes for many hours.

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection is a window to a past centered on carefree, instant fun, but also a window to a present plagued by bugs and server issues. As things stand, it's worth buying only for singleplayer, where the collection showcases the best of what Pandemic's two games offered. Those interested in multiplayer might want to wait a few weeks, hoping Aspyr fixes the issues.
