3 / 10.0 - Oblitus
Mar 3, 2015

Every time I just started to enjoy some aspects, others smacked me back down. I can see players being pulled in by its mysterious charm, but unless you're a glutton for punishment with little inspiration to move forward or rewards, I don't see folks getting much enjoyment out of this. It downright feels unfinished at times.

8 / 10.0 - The Order: 1886
Mar 2, 2015

Just like mustaches, not everyone can appreciate what The Order 1886 was trying to accomplish, but if you know what you're going into, you just might walk away loving it as much as I did flaws and all. The Order 1886 joins my list of story driven games I'll play again and again.

For low price and they fact all proceeds go to children's charity, you're getting one hell of a deal and supporting a great cause.

6 / 10.0 - The Escapists
Feb 9, 2015

Perhaps a bigger emphasis on characters or story could even go a long way to give players the incentive to continue or get more involved. It's very possible the game simply isn't for me, and this will become a niche title. But in my eyes, this is one prison I will simply not be returning to.

9 / 10.0 - Dying Light
Feb 4, 2015

I could go on further about all the reasons why I love Dying Light, but I'll leave you on this note. I can say, without a doubt in my mind, Dying Light is one of the best zombie games ever made.

Citizens of Earth can be looked at as a love letter and an inspiration to roleplaying games of the past. It's unique enough in its core premise and gameplay additions that I can't see many long time RPG fans not highly enjoying this. If you're looking for a title with both style and substance and a hint of nostalgia, Citizens of Earth is your next RPG purchase. I had a smile on my face every time I played this.

10 / 10.0 - #IDARB
Jan 14, 2015

I highly recommend #IDARB, and this comes from someone that doesn't play sports games, yet I knew the moment I yelled at my TV during a slow motion instant replay victory, this was special. #IDARB will be a social favorite for years to come.

For clever puzzles, simplistic yet intense action, interesting boss battles and fun co-op, it doesn't get any better than this.

Little Big Planet is a franchise that always makes me smile ear to ear. It's charming, fun, lighthearted and has a plethora of content to play and create. It's a shame that the experience of LBP 3 couldn't be a little more polished or the story mode just a little longer, because these are the only two blemishes on an otherwise excellent addition to the series.

[T]he technical performance is such a hindrance and burden at times; you can only hope it played as great as it looks. There is a lot to love in Unity, like tons of content to keep you busy for hours on end, but you have to be willing to overlook its truly ugly shortcomings.

8 / 10.0 - MotoGP 14
Nov 7, 2014

It's not to say that MotoGP 14 can't be appreciated for what it offers, which is a lot of content, but it simply isn't for everyone. Fans of the sport and franchise have a lot great modes to look forward to, with not only single player races but multiplayer also. Newcomers, as long as you know what you're getting yourself into and are willing to invest the time, you'll be racing like the pros with ease.

2.5 / 10.0 - Fluster Cluck
Oct 20, 2014

If I was to walk up to someone and ask "Have you played Fluster Cluck?" I'd probably get the strange eye, which pretty much sums up my thoughts on the game as a whole.
