62 / 100 - Arizona Sunshine
Jun 30, 2017

Arizona Sunshine for the PSVR just doesn't quite have the polish of Farpoint, which set a new bar for FPS VR titles on the platform. Although, if you just want to blast zombies in a VR setting it has you covered.

80 / 100 - Archangel
Jul 21, 2017

Archangel VR is a legit video game from Skydance Interactive that is much more than a glorified tech demo, which most VR games seem to be these days.

80 / 100 - SUPERHOT (VR)
Jul 26, 2017

I was a huge fan of the original SUPERHOT, and now after playing the VR version, which is an entirely new experience, my fandom has only been strengthened for this unique FPS puzzle game. Let’s just say it definitely can make you feel like Neo dodging bullets in the Matrix, and for me that’s enough of a reason alone to try it out. With that being said you should still check out my full review below in video or scripted format.

60 / 100 - Smashbox Arena
Jul 27, 2017

Smashbox Arena features a cool concept of playing futuristic dodgeball in a virtual setting, but its execution is off just enough to make the experience feel mediocre at best.

The Enigma is a great starting point for Telltale's new season of its Batman series. It has plenty of content, action, albeit in QTE form, and a great narrative that is only the start of this season's nefarious arc.

The third episode of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy series puts a heavy focus on the relationship between Gamora and Nebula, which offers more than a few major decision points that will effectively change how your experience plays out. It's a solid episode, which happens to have a bit of a pacing issue.

80 / 100 - Windjammers
Aug 30, 2017

Windjammers is easy to pick up and play, but difficult to master, which adds to its addictive qualities. It's best played with other gamers, but also offers single-player experiences.

81 / 100 - Last Day of June
Aug 31, 2017

Last Day of June is a beautiful looking narrative driven game that suffers a bit from repetition, but if you can get past that it has an emotionally charged tale to experience.

90 / 100 - Destiny 2
Sep 15, 2017

Destiny 2 improves upon the original Destiny in all facets. It plays great, looks amazing, sounds even more amazing, and it's just a damn good time.

80 / 100 - NASCAR Heat 2
Sep 20, 2017

NASCAR Heat 2 is a solid stock car racing game that suffers from a bit of a grinding in its Career Mode. Outside of that it's a complete racing game experience that feels great and honors NASCAR's spirit.

The Solus Project may not be at its best with the PSVR, but the game is worth playing in its standard mode on the PS4 thanks to the solid story that is wrapped around this survival/crafting game.

Forza 7 is a gem of a game to look at and play. The MP lobbies require a bit of wait time, and there are micro transactions, but the visual fidelity and gameplay make both of these downsides relatively forgettable.

This game is a pleasure to play and experience thanks to its many homages to classic games from the old school JRPG era. It's a no brainer must-play for fans of the genre.

This episode can get dull with its pacing at times, but the focus on Bruce Wayne does lead to some new insights into what makes him tick, as well as the motivations and personalities of some of Gotham's most iconic criminals.

For the price and the fact that this is the only brand new title designed with the Xbox One X in mind releasing with the console, Super Lucky's Tale is worth your time. It would also provide plenty of fun for all ages on the Xbox One family of consoles and Windows 10 PC's.

While the gameplay can get a bit stale, the pure lunacy of the campaign's plot and cutscenes make this a worthy Wolfenstein sequel to play.

This final episode of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy series just feels a bit flat and doesn't quite offer up the tough choices that the previous episodes have featured.

Super Beat Sports may seem simple on the outside, but once you begin to climb the ladders in each mini-game, the challenge of this rhythm-based game becomes very clear.

Battlefront 2 shines with its modern looking visuals and polish, and also has a great Star Wars campaign, but its multiplayer modes are plagued by a messed up progression system that may never provide the experience gamers were hoping to get for their $60.

This episode drags the momentum of this second season down a bit, so if you haven't already been playing The Enemy Within, I'd wait on picking it up until the full season ends to see if the final two episodes can make up for this rather boring third one.
