I played some boring and awful games on Xbox One but 7 Days to Die beats them all, I don’t understand that the developer didn’t bring this game for Xbox Preview. They are simply selling an unfinished alpha game. AVOID.
eFootball 22 is one of the saddest downgrades of a franchise I ever experienced. Avoid this football game, yes.. I know it is free-to-play.
This game is full of weird parts and one of them explains exactly how I feel about The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna. Near the end, you suddenly have a cutscene about a toilet. It explains that a toilet can be a metaphor for life and that the smart thing to do would probably be to stay there for a short time. Now as with many things in this game I had no clue why this part was in it but I understood the toilet reference. As with my two hours of boring myself with this game I only wanted to flush it down the toilet and never think about it again. This is the kind of game where I am forced to finish it for review reasons. Two hours of walking, more walking, walking, some more walking. Two hours felt like an eternity, when the credits finally started to roll, I got even more depressed as there was still a short encore section. Yes, dear readers. I sacrificed my precious time for playing and writing this so you can stay far away from it.
Error screen, error screen and error screen, that’s almost everything that you’ll see while playing Verdun. If you manage to finally get into a game you’ll face some annoying bugs that totally destroy any kind of immersion or fun. Seriously, Verdun is a massive failure on Xbox.
There has to be a first for everything and this was my first gaming disappointment of 2022. When the only positive thing you can say about a game is about the sound I’m afraid we’re dealing with a bugger then.
Not even dogs can make up for the bad things about Superfidos. I think it is a missed opportunity to be a much better game experience. It fails to be something for the target audience and the jumping controls are beyond awful. Sorry to say but I definitely do not recommend playing this game.
Omega Force… what happened here?! You come from the excellent Samurai Warriors 5 and Pirate Warriors 4 and manage to completely ruin the once great Dynasty Warriors franchise. This is an unpolished, lazy and unworthy release. Dynasty Warriors 9 in 2018 was a reason for fans to get upset and now Empires is a new disappointing blow for the loyal fanbase.
A very short and boring game that barely manages to keep the player’s attention. Plagued with performance issues and repetitive missions, this isn’t what the Spirit franchise deserved.
Not even the great music and musical background can save AereA, a shame because it has huge potential to become something entirely different. Still worth buying if you want to play an easy game in the local co-op mode but for most gamers just buy the epic soundtrack and leave the game unheard.
I wish I could be more positive but Planet Quiz fails pretty hard to be any kind of fun.
While I applaud the effort considering this was made by a one man studio, I feel the game is lacking in many ways. The procedural generation is interesting, but has limited effect on the actual overall experience. If only the combat or pathfinding was a little more interesting this game could have offered genuine replay value. Unfortunately that is not the case. Unless you spend your days wishing all 3D survival horror games looked and played like they did in the 90s, but without an actual story, this game does not have much to offer in terms of entertainment value.
Despite the heavy influence of Belgian folklore and an interesting tactical battle system Black Legend couldn’t convince me. A disappointing visual world, annoying bugs, and frustrating explanation of game mechanics result in a game that exists but won’t be recommended by anyone. Honestly a big missed opportunity for something much better.
I'm left with a disappointing feeling, the console version for Assetto Corsa is not what I was expecting. The terrible frame rate issues and AI mistakes completely ruin what a racing simulation game should be.
Making a game part time after work and on weekends shows how passionate you are about it, I highly respect the two developers from DYE (and Aeon Command) for that. Sadly enough, DYE has a few negatives that can’t be overlooked, speedrunners and challenging platformer fans will likely enjoy the game but it is hard to recommend for other players, even for the low €5 price point. That said, want to support small teams or just try the game? Go ahead, it is one of the cheaper games on the Xbox Store.
At the core, Spheroids is a fun game that everyone can play and I really believe that developer Eclipse has the talent to make something great but Spheroids only shows fragments of that talent. Too many things break the fun part of the game, resulting in a fun experience albeit some rough mediocre parts.
It has incredible smooth visuals but all the rest is a bit meh.
Super Meat Boy Forever is nothing like its predecessor. It doesn’t have the same charm, level design, or gameplay. I’m not a fan of the auto-runner concept, it is such a weird decision and downgrade from developer Team Meat. It remains enjoyable but it is far from the masterpiece that Super Meat Boy was in 2010.
Battle Axe is one hell of a great-looking retro game but that impressive first impression quickly vanishes when you start playing it. The challenging gameplay misses some fresh ideas and the combat lacks depth and tactical possibilities. Battle Axe remains a fun experience but never really becomes something that stands out, except the exquisite visuals of course.
Hunting Simulator 2 is made for a very niche audience, there is just too much downtime for the average gamer. Finding wildlife to shoot is a tremendous timely task that becomes really boring after a few minutes
Holy cow Batman! Gotham Knights only memorable thing is having the gut to kill Batman on screen, everything else is a mediocre experience that will make DC fans angry and disappointed.
