10 / 10.0 - Chroma Squad
May 14, 2015

Great subject, humour and gameplay meet charming music and graphics to make magic. It may be a little too easy for hardcore tactical buffs, but for me this game is perfect.

A great addition to the Deus Ex mythos, and more than just a better looking Human Revolution. If you're a fan of the series, or even just the last one, then you can't go wrong with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

10 / 10.0 - Pizza Titan Ultra
Apr 21, 2018

Pizza Titan Ultra is perfectly balanced, looks great, runs well and is hilarious. I'd love it even it it wasn't a giant robot with a built-in pizza shop that I could make look vaguely look like a Transformer.

If you like sci-fi and Hurk, Lost on Mars has a treat for you. There's a surprising amount to do, tons of aliens to kill, and even some Clutch Nixon challenges. A highly recommended DLC.

A great game with loads of playtime that I'm going to keep returning to for a long time to come. If only to work off my debt.

9.5 / 10.0 - Tacoma
Aug 1, 2017

If you want a great story told well, that will last an afternoon, then get Tacoma. It knows what it wants to be, and it does that perfectly.

Life Goes On: Done to Death is a fun puzzle title that will tax you, and let you blow off steam by murdering hundreds (thousands) of knights.

If you like getting an hour per monetary unit, then you definitely get that in Orwell. The campaign is as long as Titanfall 2, and it has a heck of a lot more gameplay to it than BATMAN the Telltale Series, both of which cost more and are written just as well.

9.5 / 10.0 - Pikuniku
Jan 21, 2019

It's hard to talk about Pikuniku without giving too much away, so just know that it's a fun little puzzle-platformer that doesn't take itself seriously.

9.5 / 10.0 - Noita

If the worst thing you can say about a rougelite is that it kills you, then Noita can't be that bad. I'm a big fan of this game and can't wait to play some more.

A really good free-to-play open world game that's easy to recommend to solo players or groups of friends.

This may not be a game changing MMO, but if you love Marvel superheroes you can't go wrong with a Free-to-Play game. It's easy to pick up and fun to play - what more do you need?

It has detective bits, it has crime fighting bits and it has creepy bits - just like a good Batman comic. Playing this makes you realise how much work goes into being Batman, the focus and commitment that Bruce Wayne shows, his willingness to do whatever it takes to save the day... It's not a perfect game, but it's a perfect Batman game.

The best episode so far, with a lot of problems ironed out and double the playtime added. Dark Room will not disappoint any but the hardest to please fans of Life is Strange.

9 / 10.0 - Persona 5
Mar 29, 2017

Weighing in at over 100 hours of gameplay, Persona 5 is one that you will want to spend time with. Brilliant voice work, a decent translation and solid gameplay mechanics make this one of the best RPGs I’ve played in a long time.

If you've been putting off a purchase to see how the complete package rates, then you should definitely get it. It might suffer a little from "Telltale False Choice" syndrome, but due to how emotionally invested you become with the kids at Blackwell Academy, I found myself actually feeling guilty about some choices that I was reminded about.

It’s an enjoyable game which doesn’t really have any flaws. And given it's in Early Access, it will probably gain missing features over the coming weeks.

Criminal Past is a great finale for Mankind Divided, and only makes the desire for more Deus Ex stronger. The ending is pretty open, and with faces new and old it does a great job of giving us something different while being faithful to the franchise.

A real eye-opening experience, for someone not well versed in the Vietnam War outside of Forrest Gump, it's a welcome change to the main game, and that's coming from someone who really enjoyed the main game! If you're looking to creep around a jungle blowing things up and snapping necks, then come to Vietnam. If you weren't a fan of the main game, this probably won't change your mind.

Genesis Alpha One is a game that I love coming back to for both short and long bursts. It's got an absolute ton of replayability with some really interesting designs and mechanics to boot.
