So Long Grandma is a broken game with an absolutely horrible premise. This is yet another ironic Steam game that decides to push the envelope in lieu of good gameplay or any semblance of taste.

Super Inefficient Golf lives as dies by its mine gimmick, but it is still a fun gimmick nonetheless. Those looking for a way to spice up their golf game can do far worse than this title, but don't be surprised if it takes a while to get the hang of it.

4 / 10 - Toon War
Apr 26, 2018

Toon War could have used a lot of balance. What could have been a mindless, ordinary shooter becomes a lot more frustrating with its broken leveling system. Those looking for a solid twin-stick shooter should check out titles like Nex Machina instead.

Way of the Passive Fist has got an interesting hook (or would it be parry?), but its tedious nature drags things on for far too long. Best in small doses, its desolate world desperately needs a dash of the ol' ultraviolence.

Those weaned on a diet of Adult Swim and Gainax will find much to love in SUPER BENBO QUEST: TURBO DELUXE. The anime girl heroine might not have the best moveset for the job, but the avant-garde stylings and off-the-wall humor boldly stand out amidst the sea of platformers on the Steam marketplace.

3 / 10 - Duder
Apr 16, 2018

Duder is a shameless rip-off of the Slender Man series. Though this title is a short one, the hunt for the seven truths drags on for far too long.

Terra Feminarum is one of the most difficult shoot-em-ups you'll ever play. Though it is a shame it does not make the most of its Finnish setting, it still provides a refreshing experience that will force players to get good at all costs.

6 / 10 - Gal*Gun 2
Apr 11, 2018

Gal*Gun 2 may be absolutely shameless, but those with an open mind might get a kick at how off-the-wall it is. It can get somewhat repetitive, but those with a taste for cheesecake may enjoy their time with this title, however short it may be.

3 / 10 - Go Go Poncho!
Apr 11, 2018

Go Go Poncho! Has got a novel concept with its ring-based mechanics, but the lack of attention-to-detail is blatantly apparent. Things just aren't balanced here, and the lack of options will keep you from playing with your buds in the long term.

5 / 10 - Squirm
Apr 10, 2018

Squirm is a simple game that does not do anything out of the ordinary. The trial and error gameplay can be a dealbreaker for some, though those that persevere may enjoy how comforting everything is.

Boo! Greedy Kid is the perfect game for speedrunners, puzzle fan aficionados, or those that like a little bit of humor in their games. The 100 levels start to run together after a while, but its pick-up-and-play nature makes it the perfect title to jump into when you've got a second to play.

Golfing Over It with Alva Majo is not a fun game. This is the type of title that will make you break your controller (or maybe even your computer) in frustration, and there is no payoff to incentivize players from mastering it.

Absolutely zero effort went into Toddler Simulator. This is a sad excuse for a game, and is more annoying than a baby's scream.

6 / 10 - Meanders
Apr 2, 2018

Meanders doesn't quite live up to Portal's puzzle platforming lineage, but it still provides a solid experience for those looking for it. It's obstacles and challenges will keep fans busy for a few hours, but don't be surprised if it's over before you know it.

3 / 10 - Mind Twins
Mar 29, 2018

Mind Twins is full of wasted potential. This is one title that will test your patience, rather than your mind and reflexes. Stick to co-op titles like Portal 2 and Brothers…for both you and your partners' sanity.

Aidsmoji: The Forbidden Fruit is a scam. If you want to see a group of friends dick around with a camera and make fools of themselves, you're better off hitting up YouTube for free.

Remnants of Naezith's rock solid physics make for an enjoyable platforming experience. The grappling hook is a game changer, and though it can quickly become frustrating, it also plays fair.

Hyperbolic Ignition is a novel take on the Asteroids formula, but many of the alterations found here do more harm than good. Fans are better off playing the Atari original than playing this title.

Gauntlet of Ire is an absolutely unforgiving game, but it's one that is full of creativity. Those that can overcome its impossibly steep difficulty curve and floaty physics will find a meaty adventure that provides a nice, healthy challenge.

2 / 10 - Reptiloids
Mar 19, 2018

The absolute bare minimum of effort was put into Reptiloids. Those brave enough to put down the $5 on Steam to try it out will leave it frustrated rather than entertained.
