7.5 / 10.0 - The Surge 2
Oct 25, 2019

From Lords of the Fallen to The Surge 2, you can see how far Deck 13 has come. The result of all their hard work and the lessons they've learnt is evident in the game and makes it an enjoyable experience despite some of its shortcomings. If you're missing Dark Souls, The Surge 2 canquench your thirst. If not, don't expect it to change your mind

Youngblood is a bold move; some of its changes are good ad reasonable. Some of the others seem great on paper but are not executed well. And some shouldn't even exist in the first place (I'm looking at you microtransactions). Maybe those good ideas will have better execution if the developers learn from their mistakes but that is for the future titles to be seen. But what about Youngblood itself? If you're a Wolfenstein fan, despite its flaws Youngblood can be enjoyable; like a cold drink in this hot summer

8.5 / 10.0 - Streets of Rogue
Jul 26, 2019

Thanks to its long early access period, Streets of Rogue achieves what a good Rogue-lite should; An addictive experience that takes hold of you while presenting itself with new and varied content on each turn of play. If you love this genre, this is a must have. For others? If you enjoy freedom of choices and approaches and pixelated graphics, Streets of Rogue can be both enjoyable and an introduction to the world of Rogue-lites

Shadow Blade Reload is a fun game that you can enjoy for a couple of hours or spend some time getting better at its levels in your spare time. But there are better games in this genre and it makes the it a hard sell

8.5 / 10.0 - Metro Exodus
Feb 21, 2019

Is Metro Exodus good? Definitely. Was it worth the long wait? Without a doubt. Should you buy it? If you're a fan, then just stop reading go play it. If not, go through previous games which are enjoyable experiences themselves and are cheap on every console. If you liked them, then I would suggest you join Artyom's journey of making his dream come true

6.5 / 10.0 - MotoGP 18
Jul 11, 2018

There are some good things Milestone has done with MotoGP18. The controls are fun and realistic and I really enjoyed the career. But in whole, it doesn't feel much different from previous iterations. Still, it's a good choice for fans of MotoGP

Is Detroit: Become Human, David Cage's last chance to prove himself. I honestly don't know the answer but I can say that Detroit lacks both the magnificent scale and the memorable narrative his previous games are well known for. Quantic Dream's latest title could have had a lot to say but it eventually gives up and leaves the scene. If you're a fan of Cage's previous games, give Detroit a shot, even though it will probably leave you very disappointed

10 / 10.0 - God of War
Apr 29, 2018

I'll just cut myself short. Despite its minor flaws, God of War is the best in its series and one of the greatest games of the 8th generation. If you have a PS4, than don't miss it

6 / 10.0 - Extinction
Apr 11, 2018

Extinction has its ups and downs. There's a lot to its different modes and its long story campaign, but its foundation is lacking and it eventually gets boring after a while. The 60$ price tag is also way too much for the current market! More than anything, Extinction reminds me of smartphone games: full of content but lacking in other aspects. Maybe it would've been better for it to be released on smartphones but right now, compared to games like Attack on Titan 2 and Shadow of the Colossus, it hasn't got much to say.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm's 3rd episode has a simpler approach to its narrative. It doesn't go out of its way to amaze the player. So it might not be the best or the most memorable but thanks to an incredibly bitter ending to a great story, Rachel's and Chloe's adventures connect to the main game and that is the biggest achievement of Hell is Empty

I honestly don't want a game to turn out bad or anything but Battlefront 2 is a huge disappointment that carries the Star Wars brand just to sell more. Even if you're a huge Star Wars fan, don't go buying Battlefront 2 cause it's an empty, shallow and boring experience made by people who can't portray this world with style and substance made just to make EA profit from a big franchise

Super Mario Odyssey is a festival of all the best stuff put together. All the parts fit in so perfectly that the final picture becomes one of the most epic and memorable adventures of Mario. No game is without its fault but Odyssey is many steps ahead of any game out there that any negativity is covered by its sheer excellence. Alongside Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey is probably the only game worth spending 300 Dollars on So if you're ready to pay up, Don't even doubt buying one of the greatest games of all time.

8 / 10.0 - Destiny 2
Sep 18, 2017

Destiny 2 is paradox incarnate! It hasn't changed enough to be a complete sequel yet it boasts enough content to be one. It rockets to the sky with pleasure and excitement then bashes to the ground cumbersome and tired. Some parts are so beautifully done they make us cry of joy and then other times the amateur hour hits and makes us cry for help. Despite all of this, it's a much better game than its predecessor with a lot more heart into it. Destiny 2 is a worthy game especially if you have friends accompanying you on this epic repetitive (!) journey

9.5 / 10.0 - Injustice 2
Jun 1, 2017

Injustice 2 is a combination of the core gameplay NetherRealm always nails and some novel ideas that mix really well. Let's put aside the giant leap the studio has taken, each part of the game is so deep and done so well that lets you dive in within seconds and spend hours with it. It doesn't matter if you're not a comic book guy (or girl!), You don't like Mortal Kombat or you just hate fighting games. Injustice 2 is an experience that you won't regret.

5.5 / 10.0 - Prey
May 13, 2017

At the opposite end of all the innovative ideas in Prey 2006, What hurts this game so deeply (besides combat of course!) is that it tries so hard to pack everything in one game: Bioshock's narrative and atmosphere, Dishonored's gameplay and mechanichs and a System Shock-esque setting. Prey is neither of those games; it can't even set its fundumental ideas correctly and the flaws in narrative (if there is any!) turn Prey into one of the thousands of mediocre games out there

4 / 10.0 - Drawn To Death
May 7, 2017

Not all good ideas are executed well but for a game to be this incoherent and aweful not in mechanics (which are at best mediocre) but in its presentation is something only David Jaffe can do! So I recommend Drawn to Death for only thise who have no self esteem whatsoever (or a high one not to care) and even than, the game isn't anytime more than a second hand product of much better titles

6 / 10.0 - Yooka Laylee
Apr 25, 2017

Yooka Laylee is a move in the somewhat dead genre of 3D platforming and its presence between platforming giants like Ratchet & Clank and Super Mario Odyssey feels a great gap. What doesn't make this game satisfying however are the controls and camera which stick to the game from the get go and don't let go. Despite this, Yooka Laylee is recommended to the younger demographic considering its price and amount of content; even if the whole game might get underwhelming
