Emine Ozturk's Reviews
Inner Chains has the most impressive dark and surreal environmental art design, but the rest of the game feels incomplete. Inner Chains is a long shot with potential. I highly recommend you to sit tight and wait for fixes, patches and updates which will make the game enjoyable and most importantly playable, hopefully. In its current stage, it won't be able to meet the expectations created by trailers and screenshots which we've all seen before the launch.
For the story's sake, it can be played, but beware of some annoying bugs and a stressful UI. We certainly hope that these problems will be fixed in the upcoming chapters.
I can say that Inmates is a very promising title and I can see a great effort in that work, but it feels unfinished and you can feel that it needs more time and effort.
If you want to experience a very personal narrative game about love, I recommend you to go ahead and give it a try.
Samurai Riot is a 2D cooperative beat'em up arcade game with a lot to offer. It is not a breakthrough or something totally different from other beat'em ups, yet it is enjoyable and a great time-killer. Specially, with friends! With lots of enemies to kill, some of the hardest decisions of your life, great combos, beautifully crafted environment and a plot twist, Samurai Riot is waiting for you.
When your screen swarms with enemies, the thrill will fill you in. When it looks impossible, the revenge will keep you up. When you are tired of being killed, your enemies' fresh blood will encourage you. With a restless gameplay, A Bloody Night offers a chance to revenge your loved ones. Don't hesitate for a bloody night is promised and it shall be.
Even though there are bits and pieces I dislike, I enjoyed Antigraviator very much since it is basically an adrenaline shot which gets out of control after some time.
I can say that Surviving Mars should be expressing itself more clearly in the beginning since it is already a hard experience. If you are up to a high-pressure experience on the Red Planet, I recommend you to take a look at Surviving Mars.
I enjoyed Shape of the World at full and even compelled by it. I feel like I am under some dark magic with brightest colors and I am sure that I will not be able to shake the feeling for some time.
I believe The Thin Silence is a game which needs attention and deserves your time you spend on it. It is a successful narrative adventure, set in a world of depression and darkness, but it also reminds you that there is always hope for the ones who are trying to overcome obstacles.
There is so much which can be done and more time to spend on the game to make it better, there are things to fix and need to be changed, but I am afraid now I am addicted to ELEX. Ultimately, ELEX is a mash-up of the things we are familiar with famous open-world games like Fallout and Skyrim and an intriguing story which combines sci-fi and fantasy successfully.
Sticks and stones may break my bones and the rain will totally kill me. Like every other thing in Rain World. If you are up to some challenging puzzle-platformer with extreme survivor elements, Rain World is what you are looking for.
State of Mind is a brilliant title for the ones who like to enjoy a story of high quality and a subject to dare for the ones who are strong enough to ask the real questions.
I've enjoyed All Walls Must Fall even if there are some issues which can be fixed and improved in the future. It is highly enjoyable breathing the synaesthetic nightclub environments of the game with big dudes who are ready to flirt and fight all the time. inbetweengames deserves respect by creating such a different and charming environment.
Beating Tartarus is no easy job, but it does not mean that Tartarus was not a great experience. I highly recommend Tartarus if you are up to some challenging puzzle adventure.
The game is truly cursed in a charming way and offers a highly enjoyable gameplay for the ones who enjoy roguelike games.
StellarHub is a great example for those who are interested in management sims. It's hard, and becomes very hard if you select the worst conditions, but it is always rewarding to see the little smileys while clicking through your beloved space station.
I can easily say that 20XX feels like a great mixture of Mega Man X series and rogue-like elements and it provides a great experience for the ones who would like to enjoy and ever-changing gameplay.
The Station is a must for the ones who carve for a decent atmospheric game with great story-telling. The Station may look like another space exploration game at one glance, but it is built on something very solid and at some point, maybe dark and challenging for our minds.
I am not a fan of one map, same enemies and fixed forts and turrets and I believe that I would enjoy Sleep Tight in co-op more, but if you are into tower defense, Sleep Tight offers a very different environment and enjoyable gameplay.
