F1 25 is an excellent continuation of the franchise. While not a radical reimagining, it delivers meaningful enhancements where it matters most—handling, immersion, and presentation. The updated physics engine rewards skill and punishes sloppiness, creating a more authentic experience for sim racers and F1 fans alike. There’s still room for growth, particularly in career innovation and narrative storytelling, but this year’s edition is more than just a routine pit stop. It’s a smart, well-tuned machine that respects both its legacy and its future. From the newly improved Braking Point 3—featuring characters like Aiden Jackson, Devon Butler, and Callie Mayer—to the fun inclusion of the Brad Pitt-led movie sequences, F1 25 isn’t afraid to take a few creative risks. They may not redefine the genre, but they keep the ride exciting. If you’re a returning player, you’ll feel the difference in every corner. If you’re new, it may just convert you into a fan of the franchise—and possibly the sport itself.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing Mutant Year Zero- Road to Eden, the story is wonderfully told, giving you a real sense of adventure, and purpose. The journey throughout is filled with dangerous encounters, that really make you think about your strategy as you look to overcome difficulties. There’s a fantastic in game level up system, bringing a lovely RPG element to it. In a nutshell the game is excellent, and is currently included in xbox gamepass, so why not give it ago, you won’t regret it!
So, overall hopefully I’ve painted the picture that states, that if you’ve ever played a WRC rally game, this is the best one yet, and that there’s enough changes and new ideas for those that have played the latest really games on offer on Xbox to invest in this fantastic effort, and last but not least, I would like to remind you again that WRC 9 supports Smart Delivery, so go buy it!
The Walking Vegetables: Radical Edition is quite simply a blast. I’m not going to lie it is a bit of a slog feast, but it is rewarding if only for the level of enjoyment in the game’s gameplay, sheer brilliance. Add to that local 2-player couch play fun, a classic 80’s B-Movie retro feel, and you truly have a winner, which is easy to play, but very hard to master, with plenty fun, and giggles to be had on the way.
The Fisherman: Fishing Planet is a true masterpiece. Making use of excellent physics and game development tools to produce a fantastic representation of the sport of Fishing. Offering that tranquil get away right in your living room. With sublime easy to use controls, and an abundance of detail for the true fisherman in you. Quite simply breath-taking.
WRC 8 game capture’s the very soul of rally driving, and offer’s a fantastic experience. With beautiful graphics, stunning tracks and an awesome career mode. The challenge modes are breath of fresh air, especially with the inclusion of the Esports challenge. If you love racer’s but aren’t so keen on Rally games, give it a go, you won’t regret it.
I really enjoyed my play through. Packed with features from the original, with a whole host of fresh content and improvements, this is one game not to miss, especially for the nostalgic ride that it will take you on…… all aboard the funk train, next stop Funkotron!
Super Blood Hockey has plenty to whet the appetite, be that with an awesome detailed single player franchise mode, where you manage just about everything, to the excellent local play multiplayer modes. This little gem has just about everything you could want from an arcade style Ice Hockey game, the retro goodness, the chiptunist soundtrack, and the awesome gameplay. Super Blood Hockey will have you doing just about anything to win!
All and all, The Blackout Club is a lot fun, full of action, but with a heavy emphasis on stealth and teamwork. At this point I shall point out that the game can be played on your own, but for the most immersive experience I suggest, you grab a mic and join in with the other online players of the game, as that’s where the game comes into it’s own.
The game is everything you would want from an arcade shoot ‘em up, the 80’s references and feel, the classic gameplay, that makes you pick up the controller and not put it down.
The game options are all fantastically represented, I love the fact that they include a spectator mode for the ultimate coaching experience, especially if simulation is solely your thing. The only downside to this game of note, is that there’s no online play, but then I would be dreaming if it was included, however it does offer an excellent 2 player locale experience.
Close to the Sun’s level design is broken into chapters with some clever placed collectables enhances the need to explore and the willingness to find out where the story is going. This very nature will ensure that you won’t put this stunning game down, until it’s finished. Just like a good series on Netflix, you will find yourself binge playing, it’s that good. A true work of art!
I really enjoyed playing Odium To the Core, it’s one of those games that has a high level of replayability. It’s a game that just flows, as does time. So, five minutes will quickly become twenty, then an hour if you’re not careful. It’s fun yet simplistic, the level design is fantastic and the music throughout…. well just put a pair of headphones on, crank up the volume and have fun.
Super Tennis Blast Is packed with awesome modes. It’s energetic feel mixed with it’s cute visuals is a joy to be hold. The game modes widen the game’s audience, producing an excellent couch play title which is just pure fun and enjoyment.
The attention to detail in this point-and-click style game is second to none, the humour really adds to the story and its charm. The Story itself, is just awesome, worthy of gracing the silver screen. Put it this way you won’t want to put Trüberbrook down once it hooks you, and it will. The twists, the thrills, the locations, this story will keep you guessing to the very end.
Hellmut: The Badass From Hell, is an exciting game to play, full of charm and addictive gameplay, with a well thought out control system that is easy to pick up and play but hard to master. The ever-changing environments, and randomising of levels is a lovely feature, perfect for keeping the player on there toes.
Pawarumi for me is how you should produce a modern Shoot’em up. It’s fresh with new ideas in terms of its colour coded firing system, 3D global locations, which offer a real sense of purpose. The game has excellent sound effects and an awesome soundtrack which adds to the feel of the game. Pawarumi is a game that captures you, with it’s thrilling and exciting attitude and pace, with good use of important replayability features. My only criticism is that the game is a little short, and would have been better had the developers included an rpg levelling up system for your craft.
Overall 2URVIVE is an interesting title, combining lots of elements to what is a bang up to date top down shooter. The story is brilliant, the adversary choice whilst not original is very appealing in the form of zombies, and the mood and atmosphere is captured fantastically.
The level design in Agent A: a puzzle in disguise make’s excellent use of stylish 1960’s inspired art, and features over 35 unique environments to explore, jam packed with over 100 inventory-based puzzles to solve and work out.
Overall Five Nights at Freddy’s is a joy to play, easy to pick up, full of tension and yes it will have you jumping out of your skin, not just at a jumpscare, but at the severe frustration of nearly making it through, but I promise you, it will keep you coming back for more.
