68 / 100 - Unwording

This little game can greatly help seeing the positive things in the world instead of the negative ones. There are a lot of bugs and issues to fix though.

68 / 100 - The Pale Beyond
Mar 5, 2023

The Pale Beyond sends you to the infinite ice for a deadly mission. It's an exciting concept and it's really a big task to keep your crew alive. It's even more tricky due to a few technical issues.

It was time to do a remake of Pharaoh, this one isn't a really proper one in some ways though. Some aspects of the mechanic remain strange and there are a few technical issues. Nevertheless, it's still fun to see one's city grow.

68 / 100 - Who is Zombie
Mar 4, 2022

Who is Zombie is easy and enjoyable but it misses a real connection to anything in the game. I recommend it if you can get it on a sale.

The Tomorrow Children isn't the phoenix rising that it could be but when you're aware of what you get (namely at low of samey collecting!) it's a game that brings a lot of fun.

68 / 100 - Digimon Survive
Aug 3, 2022

Digimon Survive tells a darker story of the original Digimon. The story cannot always thrill me and sometimes I can't even follow. I think some things are getting lost due to the German translation. What does fascinate me are the battles and the game's looks. Digimon Survive is an interesting take on the Digimon games.

Abzû has a deep story that couldn't quite catch me.

69 / 100 - FAIRY TAIL
Jul 30, 2020

Fairy Tail is a well done adaption of the manga but mainly for lovers of the same. As a new player in the universe, the story of the game seems confusing and isn't coherent. And while the characters are depicted well, it's hard to get attached to them in any way. Also, gameplay is rather flat and slow - except for the battles which are a real delight! Fairy Tail is the first JRPG in which I actually enjoyed fighting more than the story. So overall, I recommend it but mainly for fans of the franchise.

Pokémon Café Mix could be a really nice and constant game to play to have a relaxing break. However, it follows the concept of free games so that you're meeting dead ends quite soon. The game's a nice try and looks good. It's free, so you can just take a look yourself.

69 / 100 - In Other Waters
Mar 31, 2020

I like In Other Waters and wish I could give it a higher score. It's a nice experience. Its a special and experimental experience - however, it's an experience that is flawed in too many ways and the title torpedos itself again and again. Also, I can't always follow the story. This could have been my game of the year but bugs in the Switch version and confusing elements don't let it be.

70 / 100 - Alchemy Garden
Sep 17, 2023

Alchemy Garden beautifully combines farming and managing your potion shop. It combines adventure (collecting ingredients) and relaxing (opening your shop). The game should be much more stable - bugs in the game are causing most of the stress.

70 / 100 - Yum Yum Cookstar
Nov 14, 2022

Yum Yum Cookstar is a colorful cooking game that has you cooking and baking different things and presenting them to a jury. It's basically a collection of mini games that has its flaws but it's also quite a lot of fun for shorter sessions.

Samurai Warriors 5 is just as confusing as the Sengoku period itself - there are some negative feelings around it but I still had a lot of fun with it.

70 / 100 - Atomicrops
Jun 8, 2020

Atomicrops could be a superb farming game - it somehow misses that as the farming isn't that important after all. Graphics and sound are absolutely great, however, and without permadeath, I would really spend a lot of time with Atomicrops. I'm having a lot of fun, but its missing the tiny little more to be great.

Story of Seasons: Pionners of Olive Town is a nice game with rough edges. It's well tailored for younger players or gamers new to the genre.

LUNA takes a bit too long to unfold all its potential. When it does, however, it is an enjoyable experience with a great soundtrack and superb atmosphere. It's a good game for puzzle fans because sometimes it's not easy. The style is extraordinary - we felt that it's made by true artists.

How to Say Goodbye deals with how to say goodbye in a very caring and affectionate manner. It still manages to have a calming atmosphere at times. And some really hard puzzles.
