While The Last of Us Part I is arguably the game's best version, its PC port is incredibly sub par and currently needs a lot of fixing.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is a mixed bag of a remastered bundle. While it offers players new quality-of-life updates and great new features, the experience is marred by frustrating movement and an unreliable camera.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar is a remaster that does an excellent job supporting its great features but is severely held back by its several dated elements.

2.5 / 5.0 - Babylon's Fall
Mar 21, 2022

All in all, while Babylon's Fall had several good ideas and had a lot of potential, it shot itself in the foot with its intrusive live service model and its painfully obvious lack of polish, making it that much harder to recommend to anyone, especially at the ludicrous price of $60.

I genuinely wanted to love Broken Porcelain, but sadly the game's many, many issues hold it back from being a proper playable experience, let alone the quality game it could have been.

50 / 100 - Samurai Maiden
Dec 8, 2022

Samurai Maiden would have been a fun and satisfying RPG if its several stark issues didn't hinder the experience so significantly.

All in all, Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness sadly provides a more frustrating experience than enjoyable. Despite making a good effort to adapt the series' best attributes, its gameplay, short story, and poor performance greatly hinder the overall experience.

5.5 / 10.0 - LOST EPIC
Aug 1, 2022

While Lost Epic sports nice visuals, a great soundtrack and engaging, challenging gameplay, it’s also incredibly tedious to progress with many of its mechanics left unexplained, and a story that is incredibly dull and forgettable.

At the current state of the game, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this to anyone looking to buy it. This is mainly due to all the flaws it currently has. Even if you’re a big fan of the series, I’d advise you to wait until the game is adequately patched before making the purchase.

Overall, while there is some fun to be had in the game and a narrative that's genuinely interesting albeit flawed, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is too filled with issues to be anything worthy of being recommended to those who aren't hardcore fans of the series, and the Switch port, unfortunately, still has a lot of the existing issues seen in other platforms. As a result, I'd suggest a different, better-optimized game to play for those interested in delving into the virtual world of Sword Art Online.

While Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince offers a serviceable and sometimes fun narrative and gameplay, the overall experience is unfortunately bogged down by its performance issues and the lack of simple yet essential features.

6 / 10.0 - Bless Unleashed
May 22, 2020

Overall, Bless Unleashed is a game that still needs a lot of polish due to its many technical issues. On the other hand, it’s still a visually impressive game with a lot of content to enjoy, which is a blessing for a free to play game.

3 / 5.0 - Cris Tales
Aug 3, 2021

All in all, Cris Tales is unfortunately an unnecessarily conflicting game. It's incredibly refined features such as the visuals and character depth heavily clash with its subpar gameplay. However, if you're a hard core retro JRPG fan then you may enjoy the game.

All in all, I'd say my experience with Sakura Wars was quite mixed. I enjoyed the look and feel of the game as well as spending time with its characters. And save for the repetitive, shallow combat system and tropes, I'd say it's a solid introduction to the franchise for western audiences.

While Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS finally adds some genuinely important features to the series, it still lacks some important features and a large portion of its other content is passable.

While Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness sports an excellent art direction and adapts the early part of the series' story quite well, it unfortunately fails to provide an enjoyable gameplay experience.

Kingdoms of Amalur is still a solid game even to this day. It's just too bad that as a remaster, the game is quite frankly disappointing.

3.1 / 5.0 - Chaos;Child
Oct 10, 2022

Overall the Chaos;Head NoAH / Chaos;Child Double Pack is a mixed bag of a bundle. While both games have a great narrative, aesthetic, and soundtrack, the Nintendo Switch versions are unfortunately ridden with odd issues and executions. It's also worth noting that this version of Chaos;Head NoAH also cut some content from the original for censorship reasons. That said, if you'd like to play a genuinely interesting set of visual novels and don't care about the issues highlighted, there is still some enjoyment to be had with this port. Otherwise, I advise playing them on a different platform.

3.1 / 5.0 - Saints Row
Aug 24, 2022

Overall, Saints Row consist of both good and bad parts, but the bad parts leave more of an impression on the player. It's also a shame that while there is some genuine fun to be had with the game, as some effort was clearly put in trying to imitate many aspects of the original series, it still doesn't live up to even the worst of what the series had to offer.
