Mina Smith
Sadly, the story of Entwined: The Perfect Murder feels rushed and the characters are bland. And although there are some unique puzzles, they are rehashed too often. This game is only worth picking up if you really, really love HOG games. Otherwise, there are better point-and-click adventure games out there.
A Tale for Anna is a short, sweet six-hour game filled to the brim will hidden objects and mini-games. It’s bright, colorful, and a lot of fun. This is probably the best hidden object game I have ever played. I was surprised by how charming and lovingly crafted it was. An excellent game for the genre!
This is a cute and fun puzzle game with a fun aesthetic. The puzzles are challenging and combining the spells gets delightfully complex before the end of the game. Overall, it’s a fun game, but I wish the tutorial was much better. The game didn’t pull me in, but it was interesting, and I didn’t not dislike the time I spent playing it.
If you like relaxing platformers, this is a great game to pick up. I really don’t have any complaints about this title; it’s filled with charm, great puzzles, and the world’s cutest little robot friend. The music, the world, and the environmental clues make for a wonderful game.
Stamina in games is something that I could complain about for days, but overall, it doesn’t completely detract from the game. It’s still a masterpiece of art and video game design. With a few less bugs and a couple of tweaks, this game could be absolutely perfect. I loved my playthrough and would suggest it to just about anyone who digs a chill game with a relaxing atmosphere.
For anyone who played the demo like I did, they may be worried about bugs. Thankfully, all the bugs that seemed to be present in the demo haven’t appeared for me in the full game. It’s a much better experience now than it was before. This game is fun, funky, and a fresh look at simple cooking and farming sims.
In short, this game was fun. I enjoyed playing it, and I want to try it out with some friends too. I think it’s worth a playthrough if you like runner platformers with goofy characters.
Overall, the game is unique and fun. It’s pretty, it’s short, and its sound design is amazing. The cards are gorgeous, the characters are well-drawn with fun costumes. Players will have fun for all 15 hours of this JRPG. That being said, the game was a bit of a letdown in the price department. Had the game been $10 USD cheaper, I would have hailed it as a great achievement and a fabulous JRPG for anyone who loves them. However, it just doesn’t feel like a $30 game to me. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves old-school RPGs with beautiful graphics and loves to replay games to complete all the content.
I was not too fond of this game, but I am also not this game’s target audience. My left hand is not coordinated enough to control another character with another Joy-Con, and I have a feeling that I would have had a lot more fun with a keyboard. That being said, it is cute, it’s pretty, and it’s a very reasonable price. So I think for the right person, this game is a worthwhile investment.
The foundation of YouTubers Life 2 is pretty surprisingly solid. However, there are some issues that made the overall experience less enjoyable for me. I really regret that this title was not better tailored for the power level of the Switch console; considering how smoothly some other big titles like Animal Crossing can play on it, it was a big letdown. That being said, the game was fun and worth playing. It had quite a lot to do and is definitely worth the price tag.
While most of the art for Mira’s Brush is beautiful and fun, the opening scene was so egregiously colored that I had to turn down the brightness of my screen just to get through it. The alternating bricks of pink, yellow, and blue in pastels made my eyes hurt so badly, I barely took in what was happening in this scene. Thankfully, this game is in early access, so it still has some time to fix its issues. And I’m really hoping that the controls are fixed soon; this game could be so much fun if it was a little easier to control the heroine
Pathfinders: Mini Words is an adorable little game with a lot of educational value. It’s cute, it’s fun, it’s easy to pick up and play. There is a lot going for this cute little game, and anyone with kids should pick this one up. It’s perfect for a car ride or waiting around in a doctors’ office.
I loved this game. It felt so incredibly personal that I could feel the emotions of Bo and Ao. They are both great characters, and I fell in love with the little apartment that they were so attached to. Also, you can pet the cats in this game. There is nothing I love more than to pet animals in any game! Overall, I really liked this game, and I think it’s worth a try for anyone, gamer or not, who loves vibrant stories.
I really like this game. It’s a word search puzzle that’s been upgraded and modernized. What’s not to like about that? With a couple of tweaks, this game could be an amazing addition to anyone’s library. I do hope they add this game to mobile; I would be adding it to my phone as soon as it was available.
If there is nothing you can think of that’s wrong with a game except that it’s too short, then that’s probably a really good game. It’s worth the $8 USD, even with the short length. I had a lot of fun playing this short romp through a pencilled-in world, and I think anyone who likes chill meditative titles will also dig A Winding Path as well.
All things considered, this is a brilliant first game from developer Playbae. It has some problems, but most of those can be ignored while platforming. The puzzle aspect of In My Shadow is solid, and the story has a lot of heart and thought in it. That being said, there were a few problems with gameplay that made some of the puzzles less enjoyable. Also, the puzzles are very difficult, which makes this game a little less accessible for those who aren’t especially good at platforming. If you plan to pick up this title, prepare for some feels.
I did not care for this title. But I feel like most of my ire was centred on the weird Native American folks and the addition of the slur “g*psy.” It’s really easy to just say “fortuneteller” instead of insulting an entire population of humans that have been oppressed for generations. Also, the tutorial was brutal; with a few changes, this could actually be a fantastic game. It has the makings of an interesting title if there had been just a little more care taken in the execution of the game.
I love this game. I love TOEM so much. It’s sweet, adorable, funny and full of fun and interesting NPCs to meet and take photos of. The world may be in black and white, but it’s lovingly detailed and wonderfully rendered. The music is wonderful and there are a lot of thoughtful details to make players love it even more. Two thumbs up for TOEM!
I had a very hard time getting anywhere near the end of this game. It was so slow; it would have been better off as a real visual novel instead of making the player do long, boring hours of forced labour. Delivering real mail would be a lot more interesting. The delivery mini-game padding in this game makes it less likely that visual novel fans will love this game, and the repetitive nature of Lake will ensure that adventure game lovers will also not really dig this title. I’m not entirely sure who the target audience for this game is, but I feel like it misses the mark completely.
I love this game. I love it so much that I just finished it and I can’t wait to play it again. There is nothing about this game that I would change, and I am honoured to have been able to not only play this amazing story but also to have reviewed it. This title absolutely earned its two thumbs up.
