It seems like Do Not Open had set up itself for a failure with just its name alone' After a quick glance you might expect an exciting escape room VR experience, which is unfortunately not true. This horror-less, VR-less, empty shell of a rushed game is extremely short, lacks any polish and painfully bores me to my core. At the current stage, not opening it is the only viable option!

After the success of Lego Brawls on the Apple Arcade subscription service, porting it for all major consoles and PC seemed like the next logical step. However, after I played with the game for a while and found out its pricing, I couldn't root for it anymore. Even though there are wonderful plasticky ideas and I almost laughed my bricky bottom off while playing with my partner, it still plays like a mobile game priced as a AAA title.

Ravenbound strives to conquer the gaming skies, but its ambitiously fragile bones break underneath the weight of its own unpolished body. The world is an empty shell which desperately needs the mighty soul of some open world God, that will solve repetitive gameplay, technical issues and fill this husk of a world with some actual content, rather than just endless fighting. The Last Hero of Nostalgaia aspired to create a compelling satire on unending cycle of nostalgia, but during its development the devs got somehow tangled in the restraining string of its own narrator. This somehow unique love letter to Dark Souls is not only sprinkled with various nostalgic gags from popculture, but filled with endless references, humor, and lack of original ideas' Bugs, glitches and more than a decade of idealization created this soulslike mess which has its moments, but somehow misses the very point it's trying to make.

Undungeon is a visually breath-taking game that unfortunately suffers from lack of actual game content in favour of overcomplicated world building. The combat is clunky, there is way too much text to read and thanks to ridiculous damage scaling mechanic the difficulty is nerve racking. And that's a shame, because developers created a intimidating, sci-fi wasteland world, sprinkled with rich lore.

This 4v4 title with matches under 5 minutes is a blast for a quick evening couch session. On the other hand, the lack of any meaningful content, variety of modes, players and other makes it harder to come back to. But with reasonably spaced-out updates and seasons filed with content, this might just be a major multiplayer glow up!

Even after decades of research, handful of deep space probes and a bunch of scientific rovers, humanity is still fascinated with Mars. Immersive experience of Deliver Us Mars satisfies this very fascination by serving its junky gameplay and ridiculous animations on a way too ambitious plate, while a wonderfully grand, Interstellar like music coats the imperfectly glitchy background. This results in a seemingly spectacular story with enormous set pieces, which lacks the necessary polish, mostly due to obvious budget limitations.

25th anniversary of Klonoa brings the long-lost series back to our cozy game libraries and gives us chance to defeat nightmares of Phantomile and Lunatea once more. Klonoa and his friends look in 4K and 60FPS more beautiful than ever and the remastered textures, sounds and this 2,5D experience will bring nostalgic tears to your eyes. Plague infested Thymesia is a moody soulslike title, filled with only the most aggressive of moves and relentlessly badass playstyle. If you master the quick pace of sword slashes, parries, claw attacks and dodge without panic in your fingers, you won't be able to take a break from the satisfaction every successful duel gives you. Occasionally the game stumbles, but the epidemic atmosphere, badass protagonist and most importantly the visceral combat, will suck you back in right away!

Being sequel to a critically acclaimed title is always a hardcore task. Salt and Sacrifice didn't exceed the expectations, nor did it fail. It captures the essence of soulslike genre with hand drawn graphics exceptionally well but suffers due to a whole bunch of required backtracking and some questionable developer decisions.
