Dustoff Z Reviews
Dustoff Z is a helicopter sim that improves upon the previous game in the series, adding a more robust menu, improved graphics, and fun new zombie theme. If you're into shooting zombies in a cartoony world, this is a title to consider checking out.
So a masterpiece it is not, but Dustoff Z has its merits. Its polygonal art style is cute, and its easy pick-up-and-play level system means it’s the ideal game to stick on for a few minutes while you’re waiting for an update to install elsewhere. It might feel like little more than a mobile game, but it’s an entertaining way to pass the time in between more engaging endeavours.
Dustoff Z is a straightforward arcade-style flight game. Tackle missions, eradicate packs of zombies, and complete objectives, all in order to continue upgrading the multitude of choppers and crew members. It’s a well made loop that will suck in players and have them coming back to hit a three-star rating, especially on the tricky, higher difficulty levels. Don’t let this one slip under your radar!
Few games offer as much variety as Dustoff Z and its tight gameplay and rewarding progression systems make it one enjoyable indie.
Somewhat of following the general concept that anything can be reinvigorated and possibly improved with the inclusion of zombies we have Dustoff Z, which reaches back to the likes of the classic Choplifter for inspiration while throwing in modern progression and conveniences as well...
Dustoff Z is one of the friendliest zombie games you can play. The unstable difficulty is the only issue here, but it’s nothing to speak to the manager about. If you like helicopter controls, play this game. If not, then there are certainly other budget titles you can check out. Dustoff Z is easy to pick up with solid replay value, and is light-hearted fun we can all benefit from.
While it doesn’t bring anything particularly noteworthy to the genre, it’s still something fun, it’s a title that still offers some sense of enjoyment whether you are trying to beat the game or go through for your Daily Mission challenges just as you would in a mobile game. It’s a game, whether to mention it or not, is actually a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch, but also comes with an $11.99 price tag that might have some bite their lip before they buy.
DustOff Z is a shoot em’ up which does not present a deep narrative. Instead, the game is mostly a series of levels that will give the player better equipment and weapons. You’re asked to keep going until the end and beat the game with the highest rating in every level. Each of these is rated from 1 to 3 stars, depending on the time and accuracy with which the player completes them. The higher the rating, the better.
All in all Dustoff Z is a simple, fun and addictive flying shooter. Even though it may not look appealing at first it soon makes a really positive impression and makes it hard to put your controller down. I was not expecting much but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Get involved and build your own Zombie slaying dream team…It is worth it.
Dustoff Z is pretty simple and straightforward. It’s a short but fun arcade experience that isn’t going to make a lasting impact, but still manages to be entertaining in short bursts. I don’t exactly think I would have enjoyed this game at all had I played anywhere else but on the Switch, but that portable system ended up being a perfect fit for a title like this.
When you get over the niggling feeling of what seems like a mobile port, Dustoff Z is quite fun. It has an element of grind to it, sans microtransactions, but treat it like a simple-minded arcade game and you’ll have a blast.
