Guns, monsters, survival, "20 Minutes Till Dawn" is such a pure Cthulhu style shooting game, its short and concise 20 minutes time-limited design and blood-boiling mowing battle, bringing a very high-end game experience, but the game content is lacking, and the shortcomings of the chaotic screen cannot be ignored.

20 Minutes Till Dawn is an interesting action combat with a rogue-lite structure. The narrative elements are minimal, the presentation doesn’t impress but makes the combat easy to read, but the core gameplay loop is very satisfying. The variety of heroines also gives players a range of play styles, which get further boosted when mixing and matching level upgrades in new ways.

A fun action game in the spirit of Vampire Survivors, in which one run differs from another due to the variety of guns and upgrades. It is a pity that there's not enough content, but this is easily fixable, should flanne decide to do it.

Having said that, 20 Minutes Till Dawn is a solid bit of enjoyment for the player who doesn’t mind a bit more mental investment in a “bullet heaven” title (I don’t love the moniker but it’s what appears to be taking off). Playing around with some of the abilities is fun, mixing and matching weapons is entertaining and the potential for more future content will keep this on my radar. Whether you’re rounding out 2023 or blasting into 2024, there’s no reason fans of the genre shouldn’t give this little slice of darkness a try.

20 Minutes Till Dawn is a nice take on the roguelike genre. It is completely reachable in terms of availability with regular updates and a fair price and also can be played as an introduction title for the genre. There might be a lot of games upcoming for the run-and-gun roguelikes, but this game got a favorable state in our catalog nonetheless.
