Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary goes for a stark and minimalistic style. This is still present in the more detailed and gritty look of this re-release and the new details elevate the ambiance. There isn't much that could have been done to what could laughingly be referred to as the "story". The plot is exactly the same as it was, recycling the exact voice over narration of two characters. Interestingly, Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary offers a mode that edits out all story development involving characters and background music that drives the narrative. This mode borders on being pointless, but playing the game in this manner does change the atmosphere and adds a stronger sense of mystery due to the lack of explanation of everything.
Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary is an excellent overhaul of the original game, both visually and playably, adding a host of visual enhancements, revamped control, and new puzzles to complete. If we haven't played the original game, here we will find an excellent puzzle game that will keep us entertained and racking our brains for several hours.

While some of the changes will be divisive, and the new Sector 8 content feels a little out of place, Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary is still an excellent celebration of a classic first person puzzler. Refreshing the visuals and tweaking the puzzles to remove frustrations, this is a great starting place for Q.U.B.E. newcomers and a pleasant jaunt down memory lane for long time players.
Even after 10 years, the original Q.U.B.E. remains a compelling and well-built first-person puzzler
The 10th Anniversary version of Q.U.B.E. is ideal for the people that played the original and wants to see a new side of the game with the Director's Cut content. Using queues we saw in Portal and it's sequel, is definitely a noteworthy game although narrative issues might bring the experience down if you want a more conclusive story.
