Overall, ProtoCorgi is a fun shooter that's deceptively difficult. The builder mode adds some longevity, especially at its budget price. The retro cartoony design is also great, creating an overall enjoyable shooter that stands out from the crowd.
Within a wide variety of clever scenarios and dastardly bosses, ProtoCorgi's tight unique gameplay and cute visuals really shine.
If ProtoCorgi was merely a cute ’em up with decent controls, that would have already been enough to make me recommend it to fans of shooters in general. It’s just that good. Thankfully, there’s more to it than just adorable pups with fricking lasers. The inclusion of a level editor makes it stand out from its peers. It’s not the most intuitive of editors, but I’m sure someone else will get a hold of it and exponentially extend this game’s lasting appeal.
Absolutely bringing a mix of classic side-scrolling shooting and cuteness to the mix, ProtoCorgi has some issues but makes for a good time
The results speak for themselves: solid shooting, interesting scoring mechanics and level designs, and carefully curated experiences at each difficulty setting.
A fun space shooter with a beautiful pixelart that lacks more content, but that more than delivers what it promises, as well as offering a level creation mode for a very low price. Perfect for fans of the genre.

Protocorgi is a fun 2d horizontal scrolling shoot'em up action game in which we will control a space corgi, who has to save the world. An adorable game with pixel art aesthetics with the mission of defeating all kinds of strange enemies with a bit rough controls, but a really nice experience thanks to its adorable designs and upbeat music.
