Hot Rod Mayhem joins a genre that is packed full of some of the best games ever made. Sadly, it brings nothing to make it stand out or add to the genre, making it very forgettable. While its courses are pretty enjoyable, with several ways to engage with them, this is nonetheless a title that will remain in the rearview of a stacked collection of gaming greats.
In summary Hot Rod Mayhem is an arcade racing game suitable for local enjoyment with the little ones of the house, if it is true that it lacks in game modes and in the end the redesign of the tracks where there are up to 3 versions of each of them make you see that some variety is needed in its design. Easy to play and understand from the first round make the game an interesting option within the Xbox ecosystem.

All in all, you will only have a crack with this game if it’s literally the only kart racer at your disposal. And I highly doubt that will ever happen to literally anyone out there.
