UFC 6 is a mix of both new and familiar ideas, but don't let that stop you from stepping into the Octagon. Despite a few minor issues and some occasionally clunky ground controls, the game remains an absolute blast to play. Whether you're creating a realistic fighter or running wild with a character sporting a cannon for an arm, knocking opponents out never stops being entertaining. Like any seasoned fighter, UFC 6 carries a few scars and imperfections, but it refuses to stay down for the count. It provides an excellent entry point for newcomers while giving longtime fans a comfortable and familiar experience enhanced by a handful of welcome improvements. It may not be flawless, but UFC 6 delivers a fun, engaging, and accessible MMA experience that keeps you coming back for one more fight.

EA Sports UFC 6 does not reinvent its formula, but it refines it, bringing us the most complete, technical, and spectacular chapter ever created by the studio. Despite a steep learning curve and a still-improvable grappling system, the improved Career mode, stunning visual quality, and impactful physical feedback make it a greatly rewarding experience for fans of the genre. It's definitely the best entry in the franchise to date.

EA Sports UFC 6 is the most complete entry the series has had in years, especially once Flow States, Signature Movement, and Real-Time Contact start making individual fighters feel more distinct. The Legacy and Hall of Legends add useful structure around the fights, while the learning tools make UFC 6 easier to approach without stripping away the sport’s depth. Menus drag and Career Mode still repeats itself, but UFC fans who wanted athletes to feel more specific inside the Octagon have a lot to like here.

UFC 6 gets far more right than it gets wrong. Flow State adds meaningful depth to the roster, Time Dilation Assists makes the game more approachable without sacrificing challenge, and the presentation package is the strongest the series has ever seen. Add in an addictive Career Mode and a handful of welcome new ideas, and UFC 6 feels like the biggest step forward the franchise has taken in years.

UFC 6 is the best MMA game ever made, and it's not particularly close. The striking is viscerally satisfying in a way the series has never managed before, and the new Flow State system gives every fighter on the roster a genuine identity built around how they actually compete in real life. Career Mode has taken a massive leap forward, the online offering covers every type of player with five distinct modes, and the presentation on PS5 is nothing short of spectacular. The ground game still needs work, and the Fighter Pass remains an uncomfortable presence. But when Max Holloway enters Flow State in the third round and 20,000 fans at Madison Square Garden feel it before you do, none of that matters. This is the game MMA fans have been waiting for.
