Critic Reviews for EA Sports UFC 6
The new Flow State mechanic is a slight misstep, but EA Sports UFC 6's collection of gripping and carefully crafted stories in Hall of Legends and The Legacy make this a celebration of MMA unlike any before it.
Everything here from the new technological changes powered by Sapien Technology to the Hall of Legends will please every hardcore UFC fan.
UFC 6 is my favorite game in the series so far. It’s content-rich, looks beautiful, and the actual fighting feels tight and responsive. It’s only bogged down by some smaller flaws, but overall, UFC 6 is a strong contender.
EA Sports UFC 6 refines an already solid formula, offering more spectacular and believable fights thanks to a striking system capable of transmitting the full power of punches, kicks, and elbows.

With that said, UFC 6 is still the best game this franchise has delivered in a long time.
EA Sports UFC 6 is a bit of a second wind for this veteran franchise, delivering impressive visuals, refined action, and new ways to play, including a series-first story mode and a flashy Hall of Legends celebrating the accomplishments of some of the biggest names in the sport. The series is still a bit stuck in its ways in some aspects -- grappling could use an update, and Career Mode is still a grind -- but overall, UFC 6 punches things up more than you might expect.
UFC 6 definitely feels like championship material, though it's a few notches below an all-time great.
With some incredible visuals, and a dope physics engine that adds to the charm of the game, UFC 6 managed to land more punches than it missed with me.
