A great way to celebrate the beloved point and click puzzle adventure game series
Gobliiins Collection is a strange selection of games. The bizarre action, witty dialogue, dated visuals, and mind-bending moments will divide its audience. However, if you fall for its charms, you’ll enjoy a spectacular and difficult puzzle title. Accordingly, I think it’s great, and I recommend grabbing a copy from the Xbox store!
All in all, the Gobliiins Collection is a solid, lovingly crafted package for a series that is unfairly relegated to the sidelines. Those who know and love the games will take great pleasure in finally experiencing them from the comfort of their sofa. Newcomers diving into the world of these green goblins are treated to five distinctive, at times brutally difficult, yet always charming adventures—along with bonus material that reveals just how much heart and soul went into this release. The lack of manuals and the suboptimal controls slightly tarnish the experience, but they do not diminish the collection's value. At €24.99, it is a fair price for a piece of gaming history.

Gobliiins Collection brings a piece of gaming history to modern platforms—one that every point-and-click enthusiast should experience. It is just unfortunate that the collection suffers from a number of minor issues that can occasionally detract from the overall experience. The extras included are simply too limited and left me wanting more. So, should you avoid this collection? Not really. Despite its shortcomings, you are still getting five games that each offer around ten hours of gameplay for roughly 25 euros or dollars. Just keep in mind that it is not always the smoothest ride.
