GRIDD: Retroenhanced Reviews
GRIDD: Retroenhanced is a nostalgic trip for anyone who was around when the game's visuals were state of the art. As a game, it does very little wrong once you get used to your ship's momentum, while the inclusion of ‘Glove of Power' mode makes the Switch version the definitive one to play. If you have exhausted the joys of Thumper and are looking for something new to challenge your reflexes, you have just found your next hurdle.
The italian shoot 'em up can be lived as a challenge to face until the end or just a five-minutes tool of entertainment. Either ways are good and works.

GRIDD could benefit from a bit more content and polish. Still, it should easily appeal to fans of rail shooters like Starfox and Panzer Dragoon.
Antab Studio offer an excellent porting of its frenetic tribute to the '80s. We can still find problems with the aiming system, but the features of Nintendo Switch are used in an excellent way.

GRIDD: Retroenhanced is an excellent cyberpunk shoot 'em up for anyone looking for a fast and stylish title, inspired by movies like TRON. Well done, Antab Studios.

With the lovely visuals, stunning soundtrack and ‘just one more go’ attitude it comes with, GRIDD: Retroenhanced is well worth a hit.
Unfortunately, GRIDD's retro influences aren't enough to make me want to keep coming back to play.
GRIDD: Retroenhanced is an intense and fun arcade-style experience that anyone who loved the '80s cyberpunk genre should live by closing their eyes and letting the music guide them. An easy to learn, difficult to master shoot 'em up well orchestrated by the wise conductors of the Italian indie team Antab Studio, that engages players by leaving them the desire for yet another game.

GRIDD’s neon visuals are definitely pleasing to the eyes and the soundtrack is like a timetravel machine sending you back about thirty years into pop-culture. If you’re a fan of those Tron-inspired influences, you’ll have a blast! But the repetitive nature of the game is its main undoing and I doubt you’ll get more than 2-3 hours of enjoyment out of the whole package.
GRIDD: Retroenhanced is a hectic on-rails shooter that will appeal to leaderboard junkies, but it will be too demanding and unforgiving for casual players.
