Sports Interactive went further into realism by implementing novelties in particular in the training and the matches with the appearance of VAR for example. In the end, FM 2019 is the perfect representation of German football, which it obtained the licence: efficient, solid, and never disappointing.

Football Manager 2019 is definitely one of the most detailed simulators out there. The game is detailed enough to completely relay the experience of being a manager and thanks to this, FM19 is one of the best iterations in the series. However, this experience is flawed because of technical problems and the game's user-unfriendly UI

If you're a die-hard football fan but also a lover of the behind the scene workings of football, this is a game that will give you all of that to your heart's content. For the rest of us football fans, I'd suggest sticking to the latest iteration of FIFA.

The Football Manager 2019 by Sports Interactive shows up with few innovations and surprises. The well-known formula still works, but this must not excuse why new features like the revised training do not work properly. The Football Manager still has the charm of a spreadsheet, with an old-fashioned graphics engine and new bugs. Fans will have their fun with Football Manager 2019, which despite all its weaknesses is the best version yet. However, Sports Interactive will not make the step into the mainstream with this game.
