Overall Total War: Warhammer II – Curse of the Vampire Coast delivers a delicious deep dive into the Legendary Lords of the Vampire Coast. With its unique victory conditions and mechanics that scream YAAARRR, it's a welcome addition to the Total War: Warhammer universe and well worth your time and money.

While this is still a Total War game, it definitely feels like something different. The battles are still the same, though they’re more interesting, especially with the vampire faction focusing more on firearms than traditional melee weaponry. Apart from that, however, most of this DLC is about plundering.

Creative Assembly once again reshapes the rules in which armies battle each other in Total War: Warhammer II, adds meaningful mechanics and gives the Vampire Coast enough flavor for a dozen more playthroughs.
