Picross S3 Reviews
At the end of the day, you probably already know if you’re going to pick up this game or not; Picross S3 hasn’t changed much from its predecessor and the same will likely be said about the inevitable Picross S4.
Even if it doesn't add touch screen feature and seems to lack some real novelty, Picross S3 offers dozens of new images to discover with a principle that can kill every minute of your spare time without you noticing it. It's a fair entry entry in the series with a fun new mode, Color Picross, that sadly feels very short with only 30 puzzles.

Picross S3 is another solid entry in Jupiter's long-lasting Nintendo-centric series.
Picross S3 definitely improved since its predecessor Picross S2. Especially the newly added colour picross mode is a lot of fun to play and makes a real difference in the gameplay experience. This entry offers more variability, making it easier to play longer and harder to get bored. However, it still has a variety of flaws that could be tended to in the future.
As always the presentation is polished, and the controls are generally responsive and sound...
GREAT - Picross S3 is the best so far on the Switch. It adds in color for some of the puzzles and the Clip Picross mode is a genius way to keep players engaged in unlocking new panels. Whether you’re new to the series or a veteran, this one’s a keeper!
