Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Episode 3: Judgment Reviews
Yet another polished episode from Capcom. The story may not be up to scratch, but the game remains fun and enjoyable. The only way Revelations 2 could ever hope to stumble is if next week's episode is a total shamble. This somehow, given the track record of the first three episodes, seems incredibly unlikely.
If you were on the fence for Resident Evil: Revelations 2, you may as well wait a week and pick up the disc version. Stay tuned next week to find out how the final episode is and what my thoughts are on the complete package.
After all the Kafka quotes, it's only fitting for the last episode to be called Metamorphosis. We're only a week away from the climax!
Episode 3 has pushed the story of Resident Evil Revelations 2 into overdrive and there's little doubt that this is the strongest episode by far. Judgment keeps up the pace with its plot twists and breaks the action up nicely by throwing in some pretty elaborate environmental puzzles into the mix.
Episode 3 manages to give us the best and worst gameplay experiences Revelations 2 has to offer in one package. Claire's campaign is a shining example of how I want all my future Resident Evil installments to be, while Barry's time seem wasted with a "been there, done that" busy work design.
The third episode of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 takes the partner system and the story to great places.
