Critic Reviews for Syder Reloaded
Syder Reloaded is a solid addition to the steadily-growing library of quality shmups on the Nintendo Switch.
There’s a banging soundtrack, the visuals look sharp across the Switch’s multiple playable formats and the action still feels as deliciously old school as ever. Everything you could possibly want from a white-knuckle schmup ride with Syder Reloaded.
Ultimately Syder is a decent enough bullet-hell shooter with a good deal of potential that will hold your attention for a while, but no longer than that
Syder Reloaded is the complete package when it comes to modern arcade shooting action and it's one tough game to put down.
“A love letter to ‘90s classics for the Amiga and PC” is how developer Studio Evil refers to Syder Reloaded. Hot off the tails of the Steam release, known as Syder Arcade, Syder Reloaded allows players to experience high octane shoot ‘em up action to a pumping soundtrack and flashy visuals. Does this game have what it takes to bring back the glorious shmup days of yore? Or is Syder Reloaded a love letter that gets lost in the post?
As a huge fan of classic arcade shooters, retro-styled shmups, and pretty well anything shooter in general the Switch has really come through with a ton of variety and options...
