XCOM 2 Collection Reviews
XCOM 2 is, at five years old, a stone cold classic.
Overall, the X-COM 2 Collection offers a great deal of content for a small price. But unless you don’t have any other means of playing it; or if you absolutely must play in on the go, then you and your wallet would probably be better served buying it on a different platform.
XCOM 2 on the Nintendo Switch is the complete package, including all DLC and the War of the Chosen expansion. Tactical gaming on the go will cost you a little graphical fidelity and a few frames, but in the war against the Elders, it's a small price to pay.
If you already own these games, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the XCOM 2 Collection, but otherwise it's worth it despite the concessions
Regardless of your history with the series, the XCOM 2 Collection is an enticing offer for strategy fans. With the game bundled together with its sizeable War of the Chosen expansion, plenty of DLC and the option of playing while on the toilet, this is probably the best way you can choose to play XCOM 2.
XCOM 2 is one of the best turn-based tactical strategy games. It has a deep game system, the design is very good and it has a great sound. However, the switch to Nintendo Switch is not as good as it should be. It has a lot of bugs and graphic clippings, but if you want a strategy game in Switch, it's one of the best.

XCOM 2 Collection scales down this turn-based strategy great for those who need to get their fix on the go, but this feat is made less impressive by a sub-optimal player experience.
Despite some serious technical compromises this is still XCOM 2 and playing it on Switch in handheld mode is just as engrossing as any other version.
