Bethesda head Todd Howard has not been everybody's favorite person in recent months following his recent comments surrounding The Elder Scrolls VI's development. Now, it seems as though he continues to fuel the fire after revealing that Bethesda has no plans to cut down on paid mods, with the aim of bringing the game's Creation content "in front of more people."
Introduced back in 2017, Bethesda's Creation Club allowed fans to get their hands on Bethesda-approved mods, albeit at a cost. If you are an avid modder, you will already see the problem, as the whole point of being able to mod your games is having access to free, fan-made creations. However, Bethesda quickly turned mods into microtransactions, and since its inception, the Creation Club has become something of a sore spot for fans.
