There aren't many games out there that are as universally loved as Animal Crossing. First released on the Nintendo 64 as Animal Forest, the franchise has expanded over the years to become the go-to cozy title. Well, not officially. It seems the fandom took the initiative to bring Animal Crossing to a non-Nintendo platform on its own. Following the successful decompilation of Animal Crossing earlier in the year, the game is now stepping out into a new horizon, and we have PlayStation to thank.
