Since its launch back in 2010, Fallout: New Vegas is not only regarded as the best Fallout entry, but has cemented itself as one of the best video games of all time. Set in the Mojave Desert 204 years after a devastating nuclear war, Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda, and remains fan's favorite to this day.
Praised for its writing, gameplay, setting, and even its hilarious bugs, New Vegas follows the story of a courier who, after surviving an assassination attempt, becomes caught up in a conflict between various governing factions in the region. With an open-world set in a dusty, dangerous desert, inspiration came from Mad Max, whilst the story saw its writers want to focus on the greed and excess of humans. Overall, it is unsurprising that Fallout: New Vegas remains a classic.
