Final Fantasy 10 has withstood the test of time. Although the idea of a fully voice-acted Final Fantasy was relatively new at the time (leading to a few bumpy scenes), the gambit paid off. When I first got my hands on FF10 back in 2001, I was enamored by it, its vast world, and the mystery of Spira.
Over 10 years later, we'd get the Final Fantasy 10 remaster, which also packed in the out-there and just-as-exciting Final Fantasy 10-2. It captured the attention of a whole new generation of JRPG fans, and Tidus and his crew continue to pop up in other Final Fantasy games to this day.
Now, during the 25th anniversary of the series, Square Enix is officially giving us even more releases. It makes sense given how hungry Final Fantasy 10 fans are, as Square Enix will never really call it quits with this particular entry.
