The curse of video game adaptations finally seems to be fading away, especially since we’ve had some truly fantastic productions recently, like Arcane expanding on League of Legends, Amazon’s brilliant live-action take on the Fallout universe, HBO’s incredibly faithful recreation of The Last of Us, the smash-hit Sonic the Hedgehog animated movies, and even the delightfully silly Mortal Kombat films.
And the next major franchise to enter this prestigious hall (or at least, we hope so) is God of War, which is getting a live-action series courtesy of Amazon Prime Video.
