According to an interview with AMD senior vice president Jack Huynh, the next iteration of the tech giant's FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) technology, dubbed FSR4, may be fully powered by AI. Huynh stated that AMD FSR4 is intended to improve performance and battery life on portable devices, despite being in development for nearly a year.

AMD's current version of its upscaling technology, FSR 3.1, is supported in PC titles such as Black Myth: Wukong, God of War: Ragnarok, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
AMD quietly launches the new Radeon RX 7800M, which is expected to ship in select gaming laptops releasing in the remainder of 2024 and beyond.
