Werewolf : The Apocalypse Earthblood comes with teeth bared and flashing claws, but those claws are not as sharp as they could be.
Disjunction has all the right ingredients, but it just fails to really do anything interesting with them.
Encodya, is a charming point and click adventure, that harkens back to the glory days of the Genre. While Grim Fandango this is not, people who love the genre, will love Encodya.
The Medium boasts an engaging narrative plus clever gaming dynamics and while it starts slow, the ending builds to an impressive crescendo of unexpected surprises. So if you like to be surprised, don't keep reading the reviews or watching Youtube videos because this is one game that must be experienced without coming in with any prior knowledge as you twist your way through of both the land of the living and… the dead!
Robo Recall is a right good time. With enough of that gamer humor to give you a smile. Just enough challenge on levels to keep it interesting. I can suggest checking this game out because I still fire it up and play to this day. Truly Marvelous.
Sword of the Necromancer is a gem of a game. While visually it can look a little repetitive, the game is honestly a ton of fun. I think this one may be a game people remember for a long time.
MXGP 2020 The Official Motocross Videogame is not a next-gen experience on the PlayStation 5 but more a port but if you're a fan of motocross, then you've come to the right place. Sure, it does need a bit more of a shine here and there but it does create the illusion of riding an off road motorbike, particularly with its streamlined controls and clever use of hapctics.
Marvel's Avengers seems uncomfortable with itself. The single player campaign is charming and only lags in the areas that feature dull loot collecting sections. The post-game features fun combat in a co-op setting but can be a genuine drag to slog through. Overall the game is lacking a sense of life and variety to compliment the fun combat. It's a shame because playing as the Avengers is a delightful experience, with each hero having its own endearing play quirks. Perhaps future updates will nail the balance, but right now it's not quite worthy of lifting Thors Hammer.
While I enjoyed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the gameplay for the most part was quite fluid, including the combat, however the story which does have some totally cool moments did at times feel a little, well… err… forced at times like a group of people were throwing ideas and concepts around a boardroom. Even so, it is the single-player game that many Star Wars fans wanted and developers Respawn should be commended on successfully revitalizing the franchise again and let's hope this becomes a yearly event. Just be warned that the gameplay can be a little repetitive but hopefully the Star Wars branding will keep you invested from start to finish.
Probably the safest entry in the series of late, it's fairly safe to say that if you like Call of Duty games then you'll most likely enjoy what Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has to offer.
Overall, if you're a fan of Nioh 2 and desire some more Yokai slashing action, then there is definitely enough on offer here to justify picking this up. My main issue is that this DLC, much like the final DLC for the first game, is where I just finally have become burnt out on being expected to run through another full playthrough on an extremely crushing difficulty.
Haven is a special game that is hard to recommend, but hard to miss. If you want a good honest look at star crossed lovers, and you have someone to play it with, definitely consider dropping some time into this lovely world.
Morbid struggles with an identity crisis of sorts. Trying to find its own place among the rising tide of souls-like games of recent times.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands breathes new life into an aging MMORPG with some fun new features and an excellent story.
Live out your socialist, capitalist and other ideologies as the president of Sordland, whilst those who oppose plot and scheme against you; sit back and watch the consequences unfold as the story of Anton Rayne takes hold.
Cyberpunk gets a lot of hate for it's development process. But it's truly a stellar game with some release bugs. It just needs a little spit and polish.
All in all, the Serious Sam Collection is a brilliant bundle of nostalgic fun. While the simplistic gameplay, and the endless hordes of enemies might be exhausting and even repetitive to some, it is still a well-functioning blast to playthrough and a must-have, especially for fans of the genre.
The Falconeer succeeds in its exploration which is wonderful, however its repetition and frustrating combat mechanics creates a whole new challenge for the gamer. Lastly, this new world will take most gamers around 10 to 12 hours to successfully complete and its creator Tomasa Sala should be commended on creating a brand new and engaging world with its own rich culture and dynamics. Interestingly to say the least!
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 doesn't do much to differentiate itself from the original, which isn't a bad thing in my eyes.
The Switch has now been out for about 3 years, in that time we have seen quite a few older Triple A titles get re-released onto the Switch. Games like Skyrim and LA Noire and newer games like Doom 2016. Of the many titles we have seen varied performance.
