Stranded Sails will be too simple for most players, yet kindly welcoming for those new to the survival/crafting genre
Sarcastically humorous point-and-click adventure making death and hell interesting to play.
At the end of the day… there’s not a lot to distinguish Sudden Strike 4 from other WWII RTS games
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition for the Switch is a terrific accomplishment by Saber Interactive, albeit with less than desired graphics. But it is amazingly playable, captures the game perfectly, and is a must buy for fans of the action-RPG genre. It is the rare game that one can lose themselves into, let alone in portable fashion.
The legend of the Monkey King doesn't live up to its promise.
If you are a fan of racing games or the GRID franchise, this would be a great addition to your library!
I found myself lost in this wonderfully vibrant world. You'd do well to add this to your 'on the go' library.
Untitled Goose Game is the hilariously delightful stealth goose simulator that you didn't know you needed, until now
Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition is a struggling port of a below average game. While it is better than its predecessor in some ways, the game's wonky camera and generic visuals make for an often-frustrating experience. Only Darksiders loyalists will want to jump on this Switch port clearly showing its age.
I would recommend ‘Breakpoint’ to gamers but not just yet. ‘Breakpoint’ has a lot of potential but still just needs a bit more tweaking before it’s perfect. That said, it is still very enjoyable for anyone who loves a story driven game with a deep back-story as its foundation.
Code Vein surprised me with how quickly it sucked me in and refused to let go. The game is probably a bit more accessible to newcomers with its streamlined levelling system and slightly lower difficulty when compared to the Souls games, but that doesn't mean that it's an overall easier game, although you never really feel as stuck in terms of progression as you could in the aforementioned games due to the versatility of the Blood Code and Gift systems offering up multiple ways to approach a situation.
Trine 4 upholds the series reputation for being fun, simple, puzzle-platformers that are gorgeous to look at
The lack of changes to the gameplay are emblematic of the series as a whole. As PES continues to tweak its on-field game, FIFA tweaks the modes surrounding it. These tweaks are a success overall but the game finds itself lagging behind. Ultimately none of this matters. FIFA fans are going to continue to eat up the game and PES fans are going to continue to think of themselves as football purists. If you like FIFA, the new Volta mode is a ton of fun and the upgrades all around make it worthwhile. If you hate FIFA, this won't change your mind.
An entertaining story, extensive character customisation and stylish anime presentation elevates Code Vein above just another Souls-like.
For everything that The Surge 2 gets right, it unfortunately falls short in so many other areas. One major thing that I noticed when playing, and perhaps the most important factor at the end of the day, was that I simply wasn't enjoying my time with the game.
Lego Jurassic World is a perfect port of the 2015 title with all DLC included. It does not, however, offer anything new either in the Lego game space and/or from the original. For Jurassic Park movie buffs (and/or those with little ones who are), however, this is a solid experience if this the first foray into the title. Otherwise, take a pass.
Dragon Quest XI S is the ultimate content package of a new JRPG classic, and a phenomenal port for the Nintendo Switch.
A trash game that had promise. Looks like a games executive got his kid to make a game in his spare time and published it.
Help your early ancestors tame a savage landscape and evolve towards modern humans.
Daemon X Machina is a playable mecha anime that sucks you into its world
