The "Guardian Trials" is a rather timid and safe entry into Super Lucky's Tale's stable of gameplay. The essence of this DLC could be quite fairly distilled down into "more of the same," which is fine if hardly a ringing endorsement.

It's a bit of shame because underneath it all and away from the uncompromising difficulty, there is a very nice, well crafted and novel platform title here, that in between difficulty spikes is actually enjoyable and rewarding to play.

Hyper Sentinel is an exclusive club. Its simple fun can be enjoyed by outsiders, but the players who will appreciate it the most have played 1986's Uridium or other shoot 'em ups from the same time period.

SYMMETRY is a tough survival management game telling an intriguing story about a crew stranded on a mysterious and inhospitable planet. The gameplay is addictive and rewarding, with enough randomised elements to make each story replay different and an alternate Survival mode for players wanting an extra challenge.
