Oblivion makes a return to the spotlight after decades of Skyrim hogging it… Wait… Why am I on a cart? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Split Fiction is another fantastic co-op adventure from Hazelight Games, one that is well worth your time. The great level design and varied gameplay mechanics result in a very fun experience. I just couldn't help but feel like it was something I had seen before, and the somewhat corny dialogue does a disservice to an otherwise interesting narrative.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an amazing experience and game, especially when you consider its development. Expedition 33 provides a narrative that gives you just enough to want to experience more, and combat gameplay that forces you to engage with its systems if you want to overcome everything that gets thrown at you.
Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition is a true upgrade worthy of fans who wanted this to be an even grander version of the Wii U title. Planet Mira has never looked better, the game has never been smoother gameplay-wise, and you'll love going from one part of the planet to the next to see what else awaits you. Add that to the additional story content? And the bigger question is, why haven't you gotten this game yet?
A wonderful new take on the rougelike genre, adding puzzle elements is a genius idea. I lost hours and hours just building a layout, just too call it a day and go again. Progress however slow is just that shot of dopamine you need to keep you going for another day
While enjoying my time playing Steel Seed, it didn't just end up reminding me of other games in the genre space & with not much to set it apart, I fear this game may struggle to find traction unless it's given a push or put onto a subscription service like Gamepass.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves kicks off with a promising start, delivering moments that feel like home runs—or slam dunks (thanks to Terry). That said, not every shot lands perfectly, and some areas could be addressed in future installments, depending on the subseries’ longevity. The REV system has ramped up the action significantly, making the two-decade-long wait worthwhile for fans who’ve eagerly anticipated its return.
Despite some minor tech issues and lack of any real unique gameplay elements. I really enjoyed my time with South Of Midnight, its story and protagonist Hazel connected with me in a way I didn't expect. The setting and art direction give South Of Midnight an identity all it's own.
Battlefield Waltz has some good connections and character writing, but trying to make sense of its world and how the military academy fits in the narrative is going to make you crazy.
While I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with PGA Tour 2K25, I will say that the decision to lean towards realism isn't one I'm truly a fan of. However, the way this game handles it is so well done that I can look past my personal preferences. Amazing graphics and more-this is definitely a step in the right direction for golf games.
Dark Deity 2 builds on its predecessor with deeper strategic battles and richer character-driven storytelling. Assemble your team, forge unbreakable bonds, and lead powerful heroes through an epic struggle where every choice shapes the journey. But does it surpass the original? Watch the review to find out!
The game offers intense boss fights, rewarding progression, and a satisfying loop of loot and upgrades. With fluid combat, strategic poise management, and accessible systems, it provides both a tough challenge for veterans and an approachable experience for newcomers. A must-play for fans of hardcore, Soulslike action RPGs.
Atomfall is a small town mystery, monster battle, folk horror, science fiction quadruple feature. A high degree of freedom lets you choose what kind of adventure you want to have. This hands off approach has some small downsides. But it also leads to an incredibly inventive survival game that offers players boundless possibilities.
Assassin’s Creed Shadow’s ability to seemingly strike a perfect balance between the older titles in the series and its RPG brethren. This is exactly what I want RPG Assassin’s Creed games to be going forward.
With each battle, you’ll face legions of hostile automations, smashing your way through intricate clockwork defenses in a relentless pursuit of liberation.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land is a fantastic entry into the Atelier series. Yumia is a fantastic protagonist for the series, and Aladiss is a fun continent to explore.
For what it’s worth, Trailmakers does a lot of good for the building genre and challenges those to step into the galaxy of flux with open arms. For those like me, Trailmakers is a decent entry point and dolls out a bunch of modes to provide variety to make this building simulator stand on its’ own. The game is worth checking out for that tinker itch to scratch.
Kingdom Two Crowns was not exactly what I expected, It's a very simple but complex game. I enjoyed my time with it even though I did sometimes get lost no really knowing what the next this was.
Knights in Tight Spaces takes everything that made Fights in Tight Spaces so enjoyable, tosses in a few new mechanics without touching the fundamental nature, and comes out with yet another enjoyable deck-builder game.
Stardew Valley holds up to the test of time superbly. It is everything you want in a classic cozy game: farming, relationships, dungeon diving, fishing-you name it, this game has it and masters it to perfection. I have loved playing this game; it's definitely in my top 10 of all time.
