If you are a fan of Mass Effect, RPGs, or open-world games, this is one to pick up.
Considering I played for an entire evening straight and never got bored, I'd say Domina is successful at what it sets out to do, with fans of shows like Spartacus and Rome in particular sure to love the setup. Add a save game option (and give us another mode that isn't capped at a specific time) and this is a game that any gladiator enthusiast could sink a whole lot of hours into.
When you need to slay...demons If you need a monster hunting game look no further than Toukiden 2
LEGO Worlds may be TT Games' best LEGO title yet, but even so it falls short at almost every turn.
Cthon is a great concept that works for the most part but due to requiring a few tweaks with balancing, it falls from what would otherwise be a great game.
Styx: Shards of Darkness is an excellent purist stealth game, which is let down by stupid AI.
Atelier Firis is GUST's first try at an open world game and they do it decently, but the real draw lies in the game's complex alchemy system.
Pixel Piracy is fun at its start, giving you the potential to command a giant ship with cannons and dozens of crew members. Whether you choose to put in the grinding to achieve this state is up to you, but all in all this game is an effective time killer. I would love to see a game like this for mobile devices, and would play the shit out of it, but that game isn't here yet.
Overall the game just doesn't have enough going for it. The concept is interesting but the execution is lackluster to all but a very niche audience.
The Switches unique co-op puzzle game, Snipperclips, is overflowing with charm but struggles to hold up over extended play.
Desync is a forgettable and poorly designed FPS game that falls short of being a good game.
Danmaku Unlimited 3 takes the genre of shmups and deliver a modern masterpiece. Quite frankly its the best of the shmup around.
Super smooth and innovative combat merges with incredibly unorthodox game design for a must-play PS4 entry.
Sublevel Zero Redux isn't a bad game as much as it's a disappointing one. A roguelike with uninteresting mechanics, SBZ ultimately crashes into the ceiling it hopes to shatter.
Ubisoft managed to create a fantastic third-person shooter with excellent story, massive open world, and a plethora of vehicles and weapons.
Super Bomberman R is a great return to Bomberman, but doesn't push the series forward.
This latest Zelda installment is a real breath of fresh air...
Don't bother playing Blood Alloy: Reborn, you'll save on migraine pills.
Dystoria is a mixed bag of both retro aesthetics and design.
