Newbie’s Adventure is oddly addictive. Even just roaming around the vast worlds as a cardboard box, taking out groups of Wild Cards with the slam ability and in general just chilling out is hugely enjoyable.
There really isn’t much to dislike about the wonderful world of Aven Prime, so if you are in need of a new city sim, then there will quite possibly be nothing better than heading to Aven Colony for a brand new space travelling adventure
Whilst there isn’t really much to the gameplay aspect of Infinite Minigolf, it must be said that the simplicity throughout only helps to make the game even more addictive.
This game is great for those younger players, but adults may find it a little too samey, a little too quickly.
That said, it’s worth remembering that Marvel Heroes Omega is free and if you love Marvel then I have to say you should give it a try. Once you buy into the grind and ignore the issues, it’s pretty fun to have a little go on here and there.
Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two starts off really well and doesn’t let up from the opening chapter to the very last scene of “Hero in Residence”. It’s a great episode with plenty of freshness in the form of new characters and locations. The gameplay is way more varied this time around, with the balance between storytelling and input being just about right.
How will Moon Hunters be remembered? As a game that tries new tricks, but fails to ever really pull them off.
My time with What Remains of Edith Finch was perfect and I want to run through it all over again tomorrow. Why don’t you join me?
If you’re wanting to head back to your childhood days, or long for a time when games were simpler and the summers seemed to last longer, then you won’t go far wrong with Poi.
Serial Cleaner is a very good stealth game. It controls well, the levels are well thought out and a real challenge, and the level of difficulty is just short of pad biting
Perception feels like a perfect blend between Gone Home and Beyond Eyes, and whilst neither of those are horror games, seeing the best aspects of each mixed into the horror genre doesn’t make for a bad game.
I like the world and the characters, as well as just switching my mind off and ploughing through things in a relaxing way. But as it currently stands, the price is way too high for a game of this level and I don’t understand the thinking in putting it in a price band in which it is competing with bigger titles
If you like story driven first person adventure games, then you can’t go wrong with this. It’s inventive, brilliantly told and designed, with great voice over work.
It’s another short one overall at around two hours, but it is clear that lessons have been learnt from the laborious Episode Gladiolus, with far more variation and a character that has a backstory worth telling.
Simply put, if you love golf, you’re going to love The Golf Club 2.
The return of Morrowind will certainly be hitting the right notes with many fans of the series, but it also adds to a growing list of reasons as to why The Elder Scrolls series is better as a solo experience.
It may not have a buttery biscuit base, but Super Bomb Rush! has just enough mix to create something that is well worth a little shot.
Unfortunately Air Missions: HIND is not one I can recommend and is a hugely disappointing addition to the genre.
If you really must engross yourself in some 1980’s film culture, then drag out that old VHS recorder and watch Terminator for the millionth time. Just don’t bother spending time, money or effort on Tango Fiesta.
Simply put, if you’re in the market for a chess game, you’re not really going to find anything much better, especially if visuals are your thing.
