“Zoeti” strides on its majestic and ever-changing gameplay mechanics and deep customizable systems. Sadly, the overall package is brought down by an average story that is tied to an unrewarding run system. Still, if you’re not over deckbuilders, this one will definitely spark your interest.

"Age of Wonders 4" is a huge step as 4X game and for Triumhp Studios. After years of tweaking, Milestone releases a true competitor to one of their best supercross games, “Monster Energy Supercross 3”. Its sixth iteration improves in nearly every aspect of the gameplay — from physics to a better career management. The downside? Not so great pilot models and a wonky multiplayer, something that I am more than glad to look past if it means spending more time on the track.

“Company of Heroes 3” solid thanks to a foundation that was laid out years ago making the moment-to-moment gameplay feel sublime, but as it currently stands, is still has ways to go in terms of capturing the multiplayer audience whilst is campaign, although with lots of fixes under its belt, didn’t reached its full potential yet.

Beautifully paced, equally charming and heartwarming, “Meg’s Monster” is a must have for RPG fans that are tired of the behemoths of the industry or just want a lovely story about a monster and a girl. Grab a tissue, you might tear up a bit (or a lot) at the end.

“One Piece Odyssey” is an RPG made for “One Piece” fans. While you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it even if you don’t know much about the series plot due to its retrospective nature, it is better suited for those who either want to get into the franchise or remember some of its memorable set pieces. And, even if you don’t end up enjoying the plot, the combat – although easy – will keep you going due to its dynamic nature and amazing visuals.

“Warlander” is fully packed with good ideas and promises of a great game. But, as of launch, its myriad of issues that go from unit balancing to lack of proper communication between teammates. It’s still fun in short bursts, but don’t come expecting this to be your next big multiplayer game.

The Valiant tries to recapture some of the charm of Company of Heroes but in a “medieval-esque” setting but it fails due to its shallow gameplay, clumsy storytelling and lack of unit variety. Questionable design decisions, such as animation tied so severely to how units behave on the battlefield only makes it worse. Victoria 3 goes above and beyond when it comes to simulate society and economy during one of the most turbulent periods of our history. Even though it lacks polish in areas like AI and military combat, its opportunities for creating production chains and steering your country are endless. A great start to what it seems to be another flagship title from Paradox Interactive.

Ebb Software’s debut is a fantastic game where the desire to explore new areas is endless, but it still feels that a lot of their ideas were restricted by the market the team aims to please. Although I would’ve loved to see more complex mechanics and terminology, PC Building Simulator 2 career mode is not only a great way to learn about PC building and maintenance, but also a very relaxing game to wrap up your day. Besides, you can build your dream PC in free mode — which I believe most people will spend their time in it. Definitely recommended!

Even with all the beauty and event variety, Dakar Desert Rally drops the ball when it comes to the driving itself. Be it in a quad, a motorcycle or a truck, you will either lose grip very easily or get hit by the extremely aggressive AI. Not all is bad though, the simulation mode shows promise, but it would only shine after a couple of much needed patching.

Lovecraft Untold Stories 2 completely shifts its perspective and its core mechanics in comparison to its predecessor. Sadly, it’s for the worse. Poor enemy AI along with some beautiful, but busy visuals make this mix between roguelite and story a huge pass from me.

Return to Monkey Island treats itself as a game that never left. In some ways, the franchise itself never truly did. Terrible Toybox uses that to do its own spin on the current adventure game formula and while some elements are for the diehard fans, it also asks some interesting questions regarding gaming as a whole and how we perceive the games that defined us as we grow older.

It’s the perfect blend of RPG, adventure and visual novel that can stand it on its own against some of the best games of the last 10 years.
