A funny and approachable fighting game that uses perfectly Nintendo Switch portability. Perfect for local or online multiplayer matches, it features great technical improvements over its Wii U version, but lacks of interesting content when it comes to single player modes. The Deluxe version can be considered the definitive edition of Pokkén Tournament.

Hard, stylish and high in replayability. Too bad for the occasional slowdowns in an otherwise excellent shooter.

Even if the exploration has been lightly dumbed down, Samus Returns is a great and engrossing game.

One of the best platform games of the last years presented in an exceptional Nintendo Switch “suit”.

Absolver presents itself as a very interesting hybrid: a fighting game inserted in an online context and a decadent, fascinating open world. Unfortunately, several lag problems undermine overall quality: patches are coming out to solve the problem, but the feeling of being in front of a still "rough" code is always very strong.

PES 2018 is almost a carbon copy of the 2017 edition... until the start of the match. Konami has improved the gameplay in every possible way. It's a pity that game modes and options at this point more than dated.

Warriors All Stars is definitely a game for fans of Koei Tecmo and musou games, filled with many interesting character interactions. Sadly, even with a nice battle system, it just feels average.

A good family platform that, thanks to its budget price and a bit of kindness from the user, can succeed to close the games' eye looking to the many flaws.

More contents, similar limitations, a weird art style and laggy netcode for a sequel best played in local multiplayer.

An old-school expansion pack, improving the game all-around in ways no simple DLC could have achieved. XCOM 2 was great to begin with, and the new content brings it straight to the Olympus of turn-based strategy games.

On PS4 Pro RedOut is a great, rich and frantic racing game. On the other hand, on a standard PS4 or on Xbox One there are some annoying frame rate issues.

This new edition of Resident Evil: Revelations, even if without unpublished contents, demonstrates once again the beauty of the original game.

Naruto Shippuden: The Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy is a rich, great collector, big in contents and technically flawless, though perhaps, at a slightly higher price.

Featuring an undeniable retro charm, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana certainly doesn't stand out for the graphics. On the other hand, the gamplay is fun, frenetic and framed by a pleasing and multifaceted narrative. A title strongly recommended to old-school RPG action estimates.
