From Miyazaki's return to the reins of the From we expected great things. We were not disappointed. Bloodborne is an agglomeration of hallucinations, violence and anguish, which has the courage to detach itself from the series that gave it birth to offer players an experience as sick as it is exhilarating, challenging and satisfying.

Despite a control scheme that's anything but perfect, Apotheon is a fun and a memorable experience: the gameplay is brilliant, and the whole product is absolutely artistically inspired. This games stands out as a true piece of epic poetry, and it's something that you really have to play.

The contemporary video game, marked by the growing presence of remakes and remasters, often leads us to complain. But, when we are faced with a game of the caliber of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and a restoration of this quality, we can only rejoice.

Dying Light is a great mix of survival, RPG, exploration and horror. Compared to Dead Island it loses perhaps a bit in terms of novelty and setting, but it gains on other fronts thanks to the element of parkour and a more streamlined and instantaneous crafting system.

Dragon Age Inquisition is not a common RPG: it's the furious scream of Bioware, strong enough to make windows and walls rattle. It is a demonstration of skill and power that proves that the Canadian developer still knows how to put heart and brain into their projects.

If you have never played Rockstar's work this is the perfect time to make it your own and, in case you have already experienced old gen, different incentives to buy this version too, such as new missions, new cars, new filters and new events could be the stimulus you were waiting for to jump on this next generation open world.

As an enhanced and "embellished" remake, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth can be said to be a fully successful operation and this also applies to those who have already spent tens (if not hundreds) of hours with the original version of three years ago and the expansion of 2012.

The 343 could not be wrong with this collection and, by God, they did not. The Master Chief Collection is a pack with mammoth content, which contains the best versions currently available of all the adventures of Master Chief, as well as a monstrous and potentially infinite multiplayer compartment and countless extras. We're not usually big fans of HD remakes, but when the quality is that we can just bow our heads and let it pass. If you love Halo and have an Xbox One, this collection is a must have.

Project Spark is something fascinating, brave and powerful at the same time. The creation of video games is simplified as much as possible while always requiring patience, skills and above all a lot of time available. Unfortunately, games made by other users are mediocre in most cases.

Started badly and with the spectre of failure that emerged after the first rehearsals, The Evil Within is a game that has been able to surprise us. The mixture of old and new works, and once again demonstrates Mikami's ability to create balanced products capable of entertaining without alienating too much classic gameplay.

There were doubts about the handover from Kamiya to Hashimoto, but Bayonetta 2 takes them and fills with barrel after a few minutes of playing. This is definitely the best action of the current generation and overcoming it will be immensely difficult for anyone who comes next.

It is not at all easy to be able to appreciate D4 in its entirety, above all because the Japanese surrealism is one of those ways of narrating that not everyone is able to fully accept. And the same goes for the acceptance of an expanded story in an episodic videogame series. Once you have passed these rocks, what you will find in front of you is a work with very particular and refined features, an ode to the author's video game not sung out loud, which adopts its own register to communicate with the user.

Even PlayStation users finally have the opportunity to try one of the most important works released outside the indie undergrowth, able to soar with arrogance even among the most prominent titles of the time thanks to its captivating formula, made with a care at times maniacal. FEZ is now a piece of modern video game history that certainly needs to be recovered.

The Ultimate Evil Edition is undoubtedly the most complete edition of Diablo 3 currently around, with all the improvements made to the system, perfectly adapted controls to the pad and even some interesting additions. Graphically the game begins to show its side, and those who have not loved the product for its developmental shortcomings even after the introduction of Paragon Level will certainly not convince themselves to buy this edition, but for console players who have never had the opportunity to enjoy blizzard's work it is a must have, a real video game drug capable of stealing hours and hours of life from you.

The Last of Us is and remains a masterpiece, and our rating for that title remains unchanged. This does not also apply to this Remastered edition, not so much for the quality of the work done, as for the lack of usefulness of the operation. The graphic improvements are very pleasant, but not so marked as to force the purchase of those who have already tasted the work of Naughty Dog on PS3, and content-basedly there are no really significant extras outside of the DLC.

MouseCraft, although also accessible to a casual audience, winks above all at the veterans of puzzle solving, who, in contact with non-trivial dynamics and well-thought-out reasoning challenges, will find abundant bread for their teeth. Unfortunately, a level of difficulty that is too intermittent significantly undermines an experience that could easily aim for excellence but which, so fragmented, is forced to stop at a lower step.

Creating a title like Shovel Knight requires a boundless love for the great classics of the NES era, as well as an absolute understanding of their mechanics. The work of Yacht Club Games is a tribute of the highest quality, which does not reinvent anything but shuffle the best of the masterpieces of the past to the great and boasts a gameplay with enviable solidity. Put simply, it's yet another indie not to be missed. Nostalgic or not, give us a thought.

It just took a game like Mario Kart 8. Although it does absolutely nothing to upset or improve the historical formula, this title is one of the most fun and qualitatively curated experiences that we have had the opportunity to play this year.
