As much passion as I had for the continuation of the Mirror's Edge franchise, it seems like DICE has effectively robbed all of the wind from my sails. Though the game is fine as a mediocre playable experience, many of the things that made the original so special have been neutered beyond repair.

Hitman Intro Pack will cost you $15, with each upcoming location carrying the retail price of $10. Time will tell if this is a good business model. However, from what we can tell at the moment, a majority of users aren't quite happy with having yet another triple-A game that's chopped up and essentially being delivered one bit at a time.

It still has great potential. Judging from our experience though, it seems that a lot of that potential has been wasted and a great bulk of the game crumbles under the weight of technical issues, which are all packed into a visually outdated game. High quality visuals can be substituted in favor of complex gameplay and fine storytelling. While the atmosphere can be great from time to time, on the whole, we just missed the post-apocalyptic sci-fi flavored ambience that's heavily incorporated into games like Fallout.

Nevertheless, that recommendation comes with a caveat. As much as I enjoyed Anomaly 2, I have a very hard time recommending the console version to anyone. Even this non-PC gamer thinks I would have had a far better time with a keyboard and mouse.

If you are already an Xbox One owner, it would be nigh impossible to make the argument for buying the game on PC instead of on the console. Make no mistake: this is a buggier and less convenient way to consume something that was designed exclusively with the console in mind.

Blues and Bullets has a very rough start, but it has enough shining moments to keep players intrigued to see where Ness's story will roll. If the developers work more with the gameplay, fine tune the controls and add some difficulty with the sleuthing sequences, and continue to ramp up the story, then they will have an indie sleeper hit, even with the low quality character models. They also need to prove that the choices players make for Ness mean anything, because it's hard to say how any of it at this point matters at all. Even as it is now, however, it's well worth the $5 an episode.

The end credits start rolling just when the story gets interesting, which is another sign that they were forced to rush things. In the end, the bad camera and the glitchy nature of Trine 3, just get in the way of a game that otherwise screams 'huge potential'.

Despite having a substantial batch of non-career modes, a deep roster of vehicles, and a substantial collection of maps, Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO seems to disregard a couple of the key pillars of the racing sim genre. It doesn't matter how many different ways you can play a game, if its handling and physics cannot be depended upon to produce consistently realistic results.

When you zoom in on the true core purpose of Rainbow Six Siege, as an exclusively online tactical multiplayer shooter, the game makes a hell of a first impression. Though its features are fairly limited, what the developers chose to focus their efforts on, is exceptionally well put together.

As pretty as the game looks and sounds, it just doesn't make up for shallow gameplay and a story that really fell flat for me in the end. At least I was able to complete it in six hours, so the tedium didn't last for that long.

Yes, so this is an obvious money grab. But at times, you just can't help it. Humming all-too-familiar John Williams' themes and flying an X-Wing and blasting TIE Fighters out of the sky is as fun as ever. You are probably going to buy this game even if I warned you to think twice, because, like me, you're probably too much of a fan to give a shit what anybody else thinks. And believe me, there is some Star Wars magic here and I absolutely loved the top-notch design and art direction that stays true to the movies. It can also be hilariously fun, especially when you are Luke Skywalker or Palpatine and you chop down or electrocute waves of players. I think that even if you're not a Star Wars fan, this game can be an awesome ride, but the question is: for how long? Judging by how much content is on offer, probably not for long. It's sad really, but that's how it is.

Despite the abundance of clichés, you can see that a lot of effort went into setting the right tone and atmosphere. There are some downright mind-blowing scenes and unique uses of audio and color. Great work on that front. Although do try a bit harder next time, because you guys definitely have something going here.

What is it about routine that is so comforting? Punch Club somehow manages to not only make this endless cycle of grinding fun and immensely rewarding, while still keeping a few surprises very close to the vest. Even though micromanagement style games have been a staple on PC for as long as the platform has existed, something about this game feels like it would be more at home on mobile, where the repetitiveness can be indulged in more approachable, bite-sized doses.

With both the beauty of Firewatch and its varied tones and exploration, this is one game that will resonate with players just as variously. As such, I wonder if, like Life is Strange or Beyond: Two Souls, there is a "set path" that the developers plotted out where everything lines up perfectly if these "set decisions" are made.

Sadly, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia fell below the bar that ACC: China set. The game definitely had some great potential, especially with the new gadgets, sniping, and bringing in a second character, but the execution ultimately collapsed in the end, unless you're willing to master each and every skill. The push for perfection is perhaps a speedrunner's dream, but it's not something that will sit well with most players.
